Re: Retro Gamer 175

Simply a matter of time. Chris was approached but did not reply. Jeroen's work on the Amiga included Iron Lord, Supremacy and Agony (in-game). Thank you for the explanation. It's unfortunate Chris didn't get back to you, but I understand that you can't wait forever for something to happen. I just w...

Re: Retro Gamer 175

Hopefully my print subscription won't take three weeks to arrive (the current issue of Edge did... sigh), but thanks to the powers of Readly I'm thankfully able to read it digitally while I wait. Didn't have much time to read yet, though, but the content does look pretty promising. I'm somewhat puzz...

Re: A Question for Subscribers (magazines now sent out damaged?)

Hi Mark, (found that out after posting thanks to your other posts, clever me ;) I wish that were the case, but it isn't the solution for my specific problem: I can log in there fine, but that only shows my subscriptions (I have one for Edge, for example) and back issues ordered from Future. But my c...

Re: A Question for Subscribers (magazines now sent out damaged?)

Not completely related to the damage issue, but since Mr. Subscriptions Person is active in this thread, I feel like it's a good place to put a quite urgent question here: As a subscriber who purchased his active subscription through the old www.imaginesubs.co.uk site - how/where can I access my acc...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 141

I probably won't get the issue before the end of the week (if I'm lucky), but it seems obvious to me that "disaster" isn't meant to describe the quality, but the success. Plenty of fine games and systems have been great, but were a commercial disaster <- that. Though from my recollections I'd argue ...

Re: Subscriptions Queries

Hi! Just dropping in to let you know that after the very strange happenings and delays with issue 130, me and a lot of the German readers I've talked to received issue 131 in record-time: It showed of for most of us this Friday, which is almost a week faster than the usual delivery time! So whatever...

Re: Have you changed something on the delivery to Germany?

I think there might have been a new deliverer for overseas. Mine came earlier this week. Should have made it to Germany as well then. Well... one would hope so, but I can safely say that it didn't and I have yet to find a fellow German who had more luck :( Issue 129 actually showed up a few days fa...

Have you changed something on the delivery to Germany?

Hi! I've talked to more than half a dozen fellow subscribers all over Germany yesterday, and nobody so far has received their issue - before this, an an arrival within at worst 10 days was the standard. But this time it's already more than two weeks after the on-sale date and still no sign: This is ...

Re: Issue 95 Official Feedback

Great sub joke there ;) But now I'm really worried that my mag hasn't shown up yet :( If it doesn't by Monday I have to assume it got lost... For what's it worth, neither me nor my boss have received the issue yet as well. It IS running even later in Germany than usual, but I haven't given up hope ...

Re: Issue 90 feedback thread

While I generally don't pay a lot of attention to the reviews, I'm still somewhat mystified by the one for The Tomb Raider Trilogy. You do know that both Legend and Anniversary had native Xbox 360 versions which are based on the same engine? After all, Anniversary was (and probly still is) available...

Re: Official Feedback Issue 85

Has anyone outside the UK received their copy of issue 85 yet? I know a few subscribers besides myself in Germany and we're all still waiting (it's about a week overdue now), anyone else had more luck? Obviously, it's not that big a surprise so far given what has happened to the UK subscriptions, bu...

Re: ISSUE 82 - Official Feedback Thread

I like the idea of you doing fun covers, though after seeing the fotograph of the 'opened' calender, I'm sure I'll try to keep my copy closed, so to speak. ...when I finally will receive one, that is. Seems whatever production delays Darran hinted at hit us international subscribers the hardest :( I...

Re: Official Feedback for Issue 65

Got the issue today, so not much time yet to properly read it.. but there's a few bits I noticed: 1. As someone else mentioned before, I'm pretty sure the Namco Museum games all run from disc (but have to be accessed via the NXE game library) and you don't need online to start them. 2. There's a rat...

Why wrongly? The view that Nebulus, while technically impressive, was too frustrating to be worthwhile, is probably shared by a number of people (myself included!) I might be willing to accept that, but only if that same view is used on similar games. But stuff like Manic Miner is glorified to no e...

I imagine he would be even less so if he saw his game being so wrongly dismissed here by some.
