I have painful memories of downloading the shareware version via a local BBS with my old 900 baud beast, only to find it to be corrupt. It was almost a year later before I actually played after picking up a shareware copy on disk from a computer fayre, good times! I also remember paying £39.99 for ...

Don't forget that JAP games run in 60Hz and your UK Megadrive will be 50Hz, this will cause serious slowdown in allot of titles, many of which had slowdown already.

GameGear Recommendations Please... if any!

Really eed to expand my GameGear library, but is there anything worth getting? I have Sonic 1&2, Streets of Rage 1&2, Star Wars, James Pond and 007 the Duel but I would like to know if there is anything else worth owning on the system? Unlike most GameGears mine is used almost daily, taken to work, ...

Dude, if you've got Shenmue I, what are you doing without Shenmue II? Get it now, seriously :P Mostly price! It seems to go for a fortune! You can get it NOW on eBay for £25, that is not a fortune: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330264877110 When people are happy to spend £4...

Love classic car modding. I'm a big fan of the 'wolf in sheep's clothing' look, so battered old beasts that look like rot boxes with nicely tuned lumps in them. Always wanted to drop something big into an Austin Montego :D I currently have a few random motors laying around, as I mentioned before I e...

I have played every single game I own at least once. As for regularity, it depends on the system... I do not for instance play a lot of my Saturn games regularly, don't get me wrong there are a fair few I fire up enhusiastically almost every other day, but the majority of the hundreds of titles at m...

why is the saturn version house of dead sought after? Which version do you mean? The NTSC-J copy can be had for $20 sealed while the NTSC-U/C copy is nearly double for a used copy... I'm guessing he was refering to the PAL version which seems to have steadilly risen in price over the past few years...

One of my guilty favorites this. My old pal Mac McDonald is rather bitter about this movie, he aparently had quite a large part in the film and ended up having all his scenes cut except the one near the end where he's riding down the field on a bike. He also had his scenes cut out of Alien, neither ...

Dreamcast or Saturn, start now while they're relatively cheap to collect for! Perhaps something more obscure like the 3DO or CD32? Personally I collect for Saturn and dabble in Dreamcast (have about 30 titles) and MegaDrive (have about 35 titles) For the latter two I generally only keep good games t...
