Re: Best Looking Console

I give you, the Model 1 PAL Sega Saturn... http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/hh68/mick_aka/sss.jpg The contrast between the matte black casing and the shiny front bezel works so well, and from front on there's no visible logos of any kind, it just looks like some unknown black behemoth lurking unde...

You should try surfing the web on and ECS Amiga in productivity mode, 4 glorious shades of shoite.

In an on-topic note, I have a quite a large collection of BB (BigBox) Dos titles, almost all from charity shops.

I've passed up more than a few of these in the past for very little money :(
Even worse, I passed up a complete TeraDrive for £50 a couple of years back because I decided I didn't have the room

I've had a complete PAL Saturn collection before that was sold in a moment of madness in 2003 (did any of you lot buy it of me?!), this year I will be holding back on my JAP buying to get the last 30 or so PAL titles I need. I already have every released (and some unreleased) pieces of PAL hardware....

When I renewed my home insurance the broker added 'Classic Video Games Collection' to my policy with a value of £5000 but I'm thinking of upping that next year. How much did your insurance go up by? I think I gotta add some stuff now to mine, got way too much on the original agreement. Went up by ...

I think I have to stick with the PC original. Doom II was my first ever PC CD-Rom Game and I remember buying it from Games Xchange for £35! The Saturn version is utter dogsh*t ported by a room full of special needs monkeys on hardware produced by fisher price. As a Saturn fan-bloke something I woul...

I have in the past couple of years sealed allot of things in plastic stackable storage boxes and consigned them to the loft where it's warm and dry. The arcade cabs had to go or the missus would have :( My Saturn games live on a large bookcase in a corner out of the sun and have done for 5 years now...

I'm after a Saturn next. They are cheap and apparently have a lot of good games. You have chosen... wisely. 8) I'm not really after any consoles at the moment, in fact I'm actually getting rid of allot of my none Sega hardware. To all the folks wanting to get a 3DO, I have one and I love it, but it...

The Saturn port of DN3D is fantastic, fluid and fast thanks to the use of Lobotomy's Slave Driver engine, one of the nicest PC>Console ports from that era.

Plus it has Death Tank! 8)
