Re: N64 Vs Sega Saturn

N64 was primarily driven by Nintendo dev teams / Rare, Saturn was the home of amazing Capcom conversions and Sega dev teams.
Playstation was everyone else!

Re: N64 Vs Sega Saturn

The Japanese PS2 version of Rally is sublime but the Saturn version is immense considering the hardware. It controls so damn well even with digital. Re: N64 Vs Sega Saturn

I've only kept my Saturn collection, because actu...

Re: N64 Vs Sega Saturn

On another note though, 1080 Snowboarding on N64 remains the only game I have ever bought that has kept me up playing it for the entire night.

Re: Japanese Sega Megadrive - urgent help please!

Yes. The 7805 transistor (or whatever the MD uses, the PCE uses a 7805) will accept a variety of voltages and convert it to 5v internally. Main thing you have to worry about with mixing power supplies is the position of the positive and negative. These older machines tend to be center negative, new...

Re: Most unforgiving jumps in games?

The Dock in Revenge of Shinobi. The whole level is a nightmare but there is one long jump in particular that caused rage quits and controller damage. The rest of the game was great but that one part - even with the jump magic - just sucked so much. When I submitted a guide to Mean Machines Sega I p...

Re: Japanese Sega Megadrive - urgent help please!

Sorry to necro this thread, but from just skimming down am I right in saying a UK MEGADRIVE 1 plug would work ok on a JAPANESE MEGADRIVE 1 (not modded) without blowing it up?

Definitely an arcade game? I had an idea it might be this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1vGosVp0S8 but that's PC Engine only I think.
