My first mag I ever bought was C&VG, I used to love that mag up until the mid 90's. CU Amiga I bought every month. And would occasionally buy Nintendo Magazine, Super Play and Total. Managed to pick up 50 issues of C&VG ranging from 1995-2002 recently with complete years of 96, 97 & 98 for a bargin ...

Xenon II on the Amiga was great, loved the music, picked it up recently for the PC and was gutted about the sound on that. Still got a advertising poster of Xenon II signed by the bitmap brothers from when the game was released from a computer show.

Wasn't this why they stopped running the Arcade Hunt articles in the mag, in the mag one week, bought up by a dealer the next. I love it when I come across old machines, its great for a blast of the past, but let you know where, no way. Cos next time I go back they'll be a big empty space with anoth...

Yes get rid of the smutty ads, they disappeared a bit for a while, but latest issue has big old ads in the back over a few pages.
Unfortunately as the mag becomes more mainstream by the month, the ad's are only likely to get bigger.

Series 1, have they released this somewhere! where did you see it? Does anyone remember that programe with Andy Craine and that young lady with short bleach blonde hair on ITV, at the end they used to the data blast and you would have to record it and play it back in slow motion.

Yes Virtua Cop either 1 or 2 came out in Japan as a stand alone, it is also featured on the Sega Collection Vol 1 that came out in the states. I don't think there were any other light games barr the 2 mentioned already.

Just sold off my Megadrive with 55 games and kept my snes with 100+ games. The megadrive whilst having a good few exclusive classic games, just could not hold up against the playability of some of those Nintendo classics. Nintendo Ruled then, but the age of the DC Sega was king.

Xenon II is a fine game on the Amiga, better than other versions, Speedball 2, and also track down a PD game called Drip, thats sooo addictive, yet simple.

Hi there the best adapter to get is the Datel Universal Adapter EXPERT version (this has the extra pin connectors for FX chips and games like Super Streetfighter 2, Streetfighter alpha 2 etc. which don't work with conventional converters.

Sonic 2 - I would plump for there. A big collection you have there indeed. At one point I had a stupid amount of stuff, Amiga 500 + hundreds of games, Snes + 130 games, Megadrive + 54 games, Spectrum 48K, C64, Gamboy + 75games, Gameboy advance, Gameboy advance SP, NES +60 games, Saturn, Dreamcast +7...
