Is there any interest in old Edge magazines?

Coz I've got a sh!t-tonne of them, and I want rid of them. I already binned my FHMs and early SFXs after I couldn't find any interest in them. Seriously, no-one wanted the first 10 issues of SFX. Oh well.

I can imagine P+P being an @rse if I sold these Edges...

Re: Laser Quest / Quasar / Megazone

For my birthday this year, I decided to do something different and look for a Laser Quest type thing. There used to be a few in Glasgow city centre, but now they're all in far off exotic places like Yoker and Rutherglen. I plumped for the Yoker one (on the back of the episode of Limmy's Show in Yoke...

Re: Megadrive Collectors Thread

Since this picture was taken, I have bought the "Classic Collection", containing Gunstar Heroes, Altered Beast, Flicky and Alex kidd in the Enchanted Castle. The unboxed ones are X-men, X-men 2: Clone Wars, Zombies, Robocop vs Terminator, and Virtua Racing. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y104/Mago...

PARAPONZIPOPO
MBARIVIDISOCCAFFARIMBARI
TERAKAKKU

All for Shadow Fighter on the Amiga.

Does anyone know what they mean in Italian? I've seen Paraponzipopo used elsewhere on the webz.

Re: Worst cartoons ever

The Paw Paw Bears. It was the cartoon that made me route for villains. One episode saw the baddies attack the goodie's totem pole (which contained 4 animals that came to life) with termites. AND IT WAS WORKING. The totem pole was toppling over, and I was like "holy sh!t the bad guys are actually goi...

Re: School movies

On the last day of Primary 7, one of my mates had got a copy of Nightmare on Elm Street 4, which we obviously weren't allowed to watch, but because we were the oldest in the school, we were left unsupervised. So we had Enter the Dragon to switch it for if any teachers came along (isn't Enter the Dra...

What about the Sinclair Magnum Light Phaser? http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y104/Magoo1977/23f6bef2-d632-4012-be41-9911b7b6920d.jpg And the Cheetah Defender, of course. Never ever seen one of them... [edit: Just looked the Magnum up as I remember seeing a similar model on another console/computer....

Re: Your thoughts on...Halo (original XBOX game)

I played and completed Halo 1 and Halo 2 again last week (in an attempt to get the "HALO" nametag on my Reach gamertag...IT DOESN'T WORK) I was slightly alarmed at how Halo's graphics had dated so quickly, most notably the character models and movement. I remember being blown away by it back then, b...

Re: 20 years of Street Fighter II

What do you remember the first time you saw Street Fighter 2 in action? The combination of sampled voices, music and sound effects, it sounded like nothing I'd ever heard before. Who is your favourite character and why? Chun Li. She was the best character to beat the car-destroying bonus round. And...

Re: Your dream beat em up

Are people still making characters? I went back to a few of the old sites a couple of months ago to find that they'd either shut down, or the projects had been suspended. Shame, because there were some excellent DC/Marvel ones on the go. I've been working on one for a wee while now, based on Asuka ...

Re: Time Bandits discussion type thing

My name is Kevin. I was the same age as Kevin in the film when I first saw it. I also had the same wallpaper in my bedroom. So you can imagine just how much this film ABSOLUTELY censored TERRIFIED ME when I was wee. I didn't saw past the part where the head of the supreme being appears and they esca...
