Re: Halo: Reach matchmaking annoyance.

God, just reread my 1st post, so arrogant, sorry... had a very good day on Reach yesterday, so was happy. I'm now starting to play the maps more, so let me know fi you want to play. I've been playing mlg today, and I admit there were some good people in there, but still going positive on average. I...

Good idea, maybe not every single location/item/NPC would require a photo/illustration, but it would definitely have to be planned out in advance if pics were used.

Re: Twitter: how can we have some retro fun with it?

Trying to think of a way to use Twitter in a text adventure; I used to play text adventures with my mate over MSN, I would make it up as I went along, and it got really quite extravagant within about 40 "moves", so much so that I would have to make a map on the go. With multiple users...hmmm. I can ...

Re: Halo: Reach matchmaking annoyance.

"Doing all the hardwork" ? Isn't it supposed to be fun ? :? Normally yes, but when you realise you're being hindered by the rest of the team, no. The best game I have had so far under said conditions is 33 kills in SWAT...I earned 2 daily challenges, an achievement, unlocked an avatar award and got...

Halo: Reach matchmaking annoyance.

I don't know how they match people up, but every (and I do mean EVERY) time I get a game of matchmaking on Halo: Reach on the go, it will be me (a General) and a couple of Captains or Warrant Officers in my team, while the opposing team will be filled with Heros, Legends, Nobles, Mythics... W...

Re: Is It Worth Buying At Launch New Anymore?

Last one I got at launch was Halo: Reach. Before that? Pffffff...Resident Evil 5 maybe, but only because it came with the Xbox. And before that, I couldn't tell you. Probably a PS2 game of some sort, possibly Shadow of the Colossus. [edit: It was Guitar Hero: Metallica. Forgot I had that till just n...

Re: Is there any interest in old Edge magazines?

I gave up on Edge a few years ago once I realised they weren't aiming at me, ie someone who buys games instead of making them. I think I'll try bunging them on Gumtree, maybe keep the odd one here and there, and if that fails, BINNED. [edit:...after I've gone through them and cut out any interesting...

Re: Rate your job centre .peanuts ,monkeys. You get it

like the new "No pyjamas" sign. If your walking round in them you obviously aren't that arsed about looking. One thing that could be tedious for them, but helpful for people like me is them enforcing a dress code for signer oners. I always make a point of turning up clean-shaven*, washed and in hal...

Re: Rate your job centre .peanuts ,monkeys. You get it

I used to be like that after I left college, only looking for graphic design/creative work and dismissing everything else. I did get it occasionally, in fact I had the best job of my life being senior graphic designer before the board game company went bust. But nowadays I'm looking for anything*; m...

Re: Rate your job centre .peanuts ,monkeys. You get it

The only thing that you can do in my local jobcentre nowadays is sign on, and use the job-points. And you get pulled up for using the job-points if it's outwith your signing on time; I've wandered in a few times and the door-staff have ran after me saying "Where do you think you're going?", and tell...
