Hmmm - indeed! Koopa42 and spankydonk coming back would never happen. Good thing too. The last thing we need are the former Retro Fusion fan boys slagging anything and everything to do with RG because of old arguments. Chip on the shoulder doesn't begin to cover it. Oh those heady days of Retro Gam...

Good luck Sputryk! I must admit to being pleasantly surprised in overcoming RG's Richard Burton in the semi-final. His team has been scoring well and consistently all season. I think I must've had a lucky week that particular round! I've also dabbled in the transfer market this week - just hope I've...

Maybe the errors are deliberate to win back the fans of old RG who want a dog-eared fanzine feel!

I agree with SirClive, Airwolf was horrendously difficult because of the those walls.

I'd also add two platform games to that; Dynamite Dan and Technician Ted. They made Manic Miner seem simple in comparison. I like the games but they're just too flipping hard!

Doesn't AtariAge.com have a rarity guide? I realise its predominantly American but the guide does cover some European releases.

I think RG needs to be in more outlets. I vaguely remember seeing issues in Tesco's many moons ago but they seem to have dissappeared from there. I was lucky to find it in my small local newsagent. As mentioned previously, distribution seems to be hit and miss.

I liked the Elite feature and found it interesting even though I'm not a huge fan of the game. I must admit I thought the cover was naff but its grown on me and it certainly does stand out from the usual bland magazines. Nice to see Oh Mummy featured as well. I'm going to have to have a bash on that...

Assuming the provisional points are correct I think I may have pipped that Burton fella by two points. Good effort but not quite good enough RB!

Whilst nothing to do with laptops, wireless connections and the like, I do have a security related query for Dudley. When I clicked on your Ask Duds link in your sig recently, why does my virus protection software repeatedly have to stop a trojan called Downloader being installed on my PC from your ...

Second leg of the semi-finals in the RG Cup this weekend. Am carrying a slight lead over resident RG'er Richard Burton - so hopeful of taking his scalp and getting to the final.

Good luck RB - but not enough to overcome my Cheesy Buggers!

Thanks - I think I'll be needing a bl**dy large dollop of luck on the way. I'm sure that's what McClaren said in his post match interview earlier tonight!

What a dissappointing result (and for Scotland too).

Come on Israel!!

How about a Crash/Zzap style Christmas cover featuring writers and staffers all crowded around a telly playing retro games and gorging themselves on Crimbo pudding and gallons on mulled wine - would Mark Kendrick be able to knock something up?!!

Failing that - snow and lots of it!

Do you belong to a Union? Might be worth taking a Rep in with you to your meeting if you do, they can come in quite hand at times. Depends on how intimidating your boss man is really.

Oh, and don't get the urge to shout "Strike - all out" while he's talking. Doesn't go down too well apparently.

Ooh - quite a lot of catching up to do there - 200+ points. I'm off to sort my team out - target is not to end the season at the bottom!
