It's got to be the NeoGeo console. At first I thought about the Colecovision lot (boy, this guy has a HUGE lot of stuff for sale!), but it is sometime I have started buying items only if they are absolutely complete (box, instructions, extras and so on). No more spare carts gathering dust in a cardb...

I think it would be an interesting feature. I used to play The Hyperston Heist on my MegaDrive with my nephew. Even if none of us was particularly fond of the cartoons (not to mention the movies), the game was fery funny to play coop. To add interest, I'd suggest a comparison with similar clone seri...

I used to play with the PC-Engine by a friend of mine, who had a lot of games. The first time I saw the conversion of R-Type, I fell in love with that console. Now I recently managed to get a SuperGrafx and just the conversion of Daimakaimura (ok, Ghouls'n' Ghosts) is worth it; absolutely superb. I ...

Dragon's Lair - Quite a nifty technical achievement, and some good animation in parts too, but completely lacking when it comes to gameplay. How many people praise Dragon's Lair as a game though? Everybody says the same things you just did - so how can it be overrated? Tabe I suppose it's not so mu...

Into the Eagles Nest for Amiga.
Zzap! (italian version) gave it a Silver Medal. I was somewhat intrigued by the gauntlet style and the setting.
When I tried the game, I discovered how 10 tons of garbage could be shrinked to fit a 3.5" disk.

Gunship also had the amaaaazing intro screen where the helicopter flew onto the screen and fire it's guns at you. I think. Yes, while Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries filled the air, the craft emerged roaring from the sky, unleashing its awesome firepower on the title screen. Or at least that was wha...

If I managed to read the katakana of the original title correctly, it should sound like Shenmoo, with the 'e' sound like in 'end' and a long 'u' (as in zoo), just as Titan and the others stated. Speaking of the correct pronounciation of 'Sega', there's a very funny story. When the MegaDrive was firs...

Atmoshpere. If the game manages to get me involved, I easily pass over rough graphics, gamplay glitches and other more or less serious issues. This is especially true for early graphic or cinematic adventure games. Titles that come to my mind are for example Future Wars, Deja Vu, Of Light and Darkne...

Has anyone here played the update to Powerdrome that appeared on xbox, ps2, and PC? http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=a6ckQaqDDsY I have got the PC version. It'd be F-Zero series for me. Don't get me wrong, I like the Wipeout series very much indeed, but the arcade feeling of F-zero is unbeatable. I also found Wipeout's soundtracks less involving - but that's due to my linkings in music. You know which futuristic racer I spent literally days on and of w...
