Oh! I had it too! Before moving to Amiga 500 and Speedball, Roller Ball was one of my fav future sport game. I can't remember of any conversion. I have an vague memory of a Speccy-or-so (MSX?) version with black background and yellow sprites in my mind, but I can't focus. Probably I am mixing things...

My whole C64 stuff. Computer, disk drive, tape deck, monitor and A LOAD OF ORIGINAL GAMES (ok, and a few not so ones...). Ok, I was getting an Amiga at the time. And the guy who bought the lot was very very happy. Bubble Bobble, Head over Heels, Gauntlet, Dargon's Lair, Ghost'n'Goblins, Parallax, Be...

Ah! Laser Squad! My favorite tactics game on Amiga 500. I remember playing against my brother. There was a scenario in which I had marines surrounding a house, and my brother was entrenched in that house. He had one special character that had to survive in order to win the game, all his other combat...

I was some 8 years old, when I started saying Waka-Waka at every bite while having lunch. I did it only once, after realising the look in the eyes of my mother. Ah, at school I used to practice the Dragon's Lair sequences 'live' with a friend of mine. We took turns: one did the player, saying the mo...

Before being an 'actual collector', some ten or eleven years ago, I simply wanted to have back all the console and computer games that I had bought in my youth, and then sold to 'upgrade' to the newer system. I didn't care much about item conditions, and bought spare cartridges, consoles without box...

Panzer Kick Boxing - Amiga, brilliant game where you could pick ALL your moves and assign them to the joystick. LOL! Maybe 'Panzer Dragoon Kick Boxing'? Sorry, the actual title was 'André Panza Kick Boxing', named after a famous french champion, and indeed it was a brilliant game. As for the...

Supposing we are speaking of an adult, I'd choose something that is immediately appealing, simple and addictive. Tetris first comes to my mind. Then Space invaders. Since vs. human competition or cooperation is a strong driver, I'd suggest Indy 500 (atari 2600) Basketball (the old 1vs1 trackball dri...
