You have to think of the work they put into these intros, and another world on the ST/Amiga pushed boundaries. At the time they were shocking and you couldn't belive they were happening on your telly! Shadow Of The Beast for the Amiga was another eye opener.

My first game was Adventure for the 2600, and I've still got it! Yay.
My first computer was actually a Pong console with two paddles and a light gun, I think it was a Binatone. But you didn't buy games for that, they were inbuilt.

Wow! I love this forum. I just downloaded, booted up damocles, and flew into capital city spaceport. It's still a thrill.
Thx Scapegoat.

I think the Amiga version was a straight port from the ST. Lazy programers did that all the time back then. I might be wrong though it was along time ago, but I had an ST and Amiga and I bought the ST version...

I completed Tempest 2000 on the Jag, a great videogame moment in my life and THE reason to buy a Jaguar. AvP and a few other gems but Tempest 2000 was king. Going past lvl 99 and not wanting it to end says alot about this game (it go's around again but harder) Not many games like this out there.

Phantasy Star 1, 2, and 3 aren't games for people with short attention spans. I consider Phantasy star 2 to be one of the greatest RPG's. I played it so much I knew the maps! If your gonna play through them as a modern gamer start with PhantasyStar2 and a walkthough, save a month of your life!

I've got a six year old boy and two baby girls. I had no time for gaming untill i got a NDS. I kept saying "NO Brandon, don't carry it arround by the top screen!". It snapped in two. I'm plotting my revenge...
