Edit: Put down for one, so I'll find out myself soon enough ;) That EEPROM project sounds awesome too.
Did you get yours yet Sureshot? What do you think?

That's the thing, I had loads of mp3 files, and rumor is they are handing out large fines per song. They tend to go for those who habitually upload music, rather than those who download it. The huge fines/settlements reported from the US would not be reflected in the UK, and if it ever went to cour...

No issues as far as I'm aware. You might get asked to call a free-phone number to talk to some Indians, but as long as it's legit, and you aren't installing it on more computers than the licence permits, it should just reactivate.

My missus spurned my game playing, until she caught me playing Links Awakening on the Gameboy. Me: "Hun, have you seen my Gameboy?" Missus: "No." Several weeks later.... Me: "Dammit. I must have left the Gameboy somehwere. Oh well, I'll have to get another one." Missus: "No, it's Ok. I've finished p...

While the girlfriend was hosting a modern version of a tupperware type party My other half once had one of those; there seemed to be an awful lot of giggling. After about an hour of which, I went down the pub until closing. I recommend it as a course of action :) As for the CPC - a friend (or shoul...

Guys, thanks for the replies. Strange stuff indeed. In the Japanese version, on the big stone block it definitely says 'R.I.P Save File', but if you die on this stage it does not wipe your save file. :? Perhaps you have to beat the stage to delete it? It's damn hard though and I haven't managed thi...

Because most of them have never met an American, and base all their preconceptions on what they see on the television. Let's face, most Americans who come to work in the UK are as far removed from the "wo wo wo wo!" Jerry Springer audience morons as can be. Same the other way round, the american im...

I'm looking at a replacement gfx card and I'm considering a PCI-E one on Ebay that seems to be very reasonably priced. I use AGP just now and was wondering if anyone here could show me how I might find out about PCI-E compatibility, please. Almost certainly your motherboard doesn't support the late...
