Re: KFC

Their rice box thing is bloody marvellous. Was nice to see it above the Florida shootings on BBC news feed. People obviously have everything in perspective (sigh).

My nine year old son finally won his first game of fortnite. Another year or two and he will be 'owning' me in everything game related.

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

Some Brooklyn 99 series 5. First episode was really dark for a comedy. Picking off Black Mirror season 4 when in the mood for one.

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

Black Panther. Very good. Very much it's own film.

Finished the Punisher on Netflix. Thankfully a big improvement over Iron Fist (which wouldn't have been hard)

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

The Post. Was a bit bored so popped to the local cinema today (on half term) for a bit of cerebral watching. Some genuinely worrying if a bit obvious parallels with Trumps 'fake media' attacks. Good performances but took a while to get going.

My son has discovered Fortnite. Pretty much the same as PubG but the fave game of those crazy youngsters at the moment.

Re: Photo's of your retro collection.

This used to be a massively popular thread. In the very early stages of making a new games room in my new house. Won’t be as much retro as old though. I forgot how lively this forum used to be.

Re: Controversial gaming opinions

:) My own controvesial opinion is that we're due another videogames crash - the only thing that's held it back from happening so far is that the online stores for the consoles now have support for "indie" game developers to get them coverage and market penetration. If it was up to the main publisher...

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. Saw it with my son yesterday and he loved it. It’s a pretty decent film actually all things considered.

Re: wii U

My son loves it but I never took to it. He still designs levels on Mario maker and the official Wii U Mario game is really good. We own a switch and the price of some old 're released games are outrageous tbh.
