Letters for issue 100

We're currently short of letters this month, which is surprising as we thought we’d be flooded with them for issue 100. Therefore, if you’d like the chance to appear in the issue and tell us your likes and dislikes about how we’ve conducted ourselves over 100 issues email us at retrogamer@imagine-pu...

Re: Schoolboy error in the Bubble Bobble article!

Sorry chaps, have to hold my hands up, a silly blunder. The only explanation I can think is that at the time maybe I was thinking Bubble Bobble might have been the first dedicated coop game (in the sense that it requires two people to finish). Otherwise, I'm baffled as to why I would have put that. ...

Re: Mistake about fifa 2000 in Issue 95

Quote Issue 95 Page 75: [Mega Drive] The FIFA series kept the isometric engine for its entire tenture on the Mega Drive. Amazingly the final release for the system was FIFA 2000. Seems like FIFA 2000 "Gold Edition" is nothing but a romhack of 97. Source: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDQ16VQxRJs D...

Re: New Vs Old - Aliens Infestation Vs Alien III

[quote="Szczepaniak"]It was made in the UK by BITS. The studio seems to have closed down, or been very quiet, but I did at one point have some contact details of a guy over there. Re: New Vs Old - Aliens Infestation Vs Alien III

I've always preferred the simplicity of the MD version too, though I can appreciate why many feel that the SNES game is the better of the two. Though it doesn’t seem to get much love, the GB version is worth checking out too.

Re: Hot Topic - End of an 8-bit era

Kinda similar question to this. http://www.retrogamer.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=28264 My answer is the same... Although to me they never died really, there were 2 moments when I realised they were being superseded. The first was when Crash became no more than a pamphlet & the second was when I ...

Dreamcast Collection - your thoughts

Just a quick poll to gauge interest in the Dreamcast Collection that was officially announced for PC and X360 last month. Given that most feel a more apt title for the pack would’ve been The DC XBLA Collection we're expecting a less than positive reaction to this one. But feel free to prove us wrong...

We've been asked to conduct a quick research poll to find out how many of our readers own current gen consoles and play modern releases.

If you could take the time to let us know it would be appreciated.

Cheers,
