From what I've heard it's the original arcade version but with the Beatles music removed, which is a bit sad.

I was just browsing the contents of the latest issue and went straight to the Activison article; I thought it looked familiar - is this a direct reprint (barring a few layout changes) of the GamesTM piece from issue 75 (Resident Evil 5 cover)? Hope Darran doesn't mind me answering this. There was a...

I used to love some of Capcom's Disney games on the NES. Rescue Rangers and Duck Tales in particular were a cut above the usual licensed rubbish.

Though it may be contrary to the wider use of retro on this forum, I would like to see coverage of games from the early days of the previous generation (PS2,GC,Xbox) in GTM Retro. Interesting. We've dabbled in this since the re-design. There was a Behind The Scenes on Metroid Prime and a Best Games...

Coincidentally, those two periods happen to be my favourite to write about, so you're in luck. :)

But anyway, getting the thread back on track ... Seeing as how Imagine own both GamesTM and Retro Gamer wouldn't it make sense to phase out the retro section in GamesTM and use the retro content in RG instead? (Not that I want to see anyone lose their jobs or anything!) It's still a huge se...

That won't happen but it's possible that we'll do another anthology of just retro material at some point.

gamesTM Retro - Your thoughts

Guys, I'm still on gamesTM but haven't been officially in charge of the retro section for some time. That all changes this month and I'm now thinking of making a few alterations/additions to the current formula. I value the opinion of all of you here, so I'd like to ask what kind of stuff you would ...

You are all MAD!

Captain America And The Avengers was absolutely brilliant, at least on the Mega Drive.

Having said that, my mates and I did take the censored out of it a lot. The way Captain America would say "Thank you.................... Wonder Man" used to have me in stitches.

Yeah. Apparently Akuma crops up randomly in the single player mode if the coin-op detects a skilled player.

The first picture looks like it might be Gouken, though it might just be Akuma, I guess.

Just spent a few days in Osaka and managed to have a few goes on an SFIV cab out there. Most of the players were already much better than me but I did manage to win a round against one Japanese guy. I was Sagat, he was Ryu, and he kept trying to do some sort of charged move on me so I would jump ove...

It's a saturn shooter list. only about three shooters were released in the UK, so they're all Japanese. And besides it's not as though the machine's hard to chip/expensive to buy on import. Still, we'll make sure that they're not all import only in future. Theres no need to get all sarcastic, the m...
