My driving instructor said that you are allowed to add 10% to the speed limit if overtaking (and someone else said you can add another 2mph to that as well) so you can technically overtake someone LEGALLY at 79mph. Is there any truth to this?

I notice that Batman Begins hasn't been given an option though. I have to say I quite like this one too on XBox. Incidentally the last I heard was that they were making Lego Indiana Jones, not Lego Batman now. I didn't include Batman Begins as it's not 'retro' enough yet. Don't worry about Lego Bat...

Inappropriate speed. So it's safe to assume that letting anyone drive like a lunatic is dangerous. So is it also safe to assume that not everyone is Lewis Hamilton and can handle speeds safely? Oh yes.. As normal Dudley made the point I was trying to make but much clearer and in less words :) I do ...

Actually surprised now that no-one's mentioned Stay Alive. Not seen it in full yet but they referred to Silent Hill 4 as well as various other games. I think there was also loads of arcade machines being played in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (the first movie) at Shredder's place. Plus did anyone se...

Maybe if people didn't sit in the middle/over taking lanes poodling along and instead pulled into the left hand lane out the way, people at work in their van and trying to get home to see the kids for 10mins before they go to bed wouldn't be so close behind you flashing their lights and telling you...

I always think though that if you drive a company van, you're representing that company, so driving a company van badly is a bad advert for the company. It wasn't the M4 I was on though (but yes I agree that can be a lottery sometimes), I was coming out of Cardiff up the A470 towards my home (Merthy...

White van man

Well not necessarily white, driving vans, or even necessarily men. I got cut up twice today travelling home from Cardiff on a dual carriageway by company vans (one even tailgated me travelling at 70mph about 5 inches off my rear bumper). I've often thought I should call up the companies that employ ...

I presume you mean Spaced rather than Shaun of the Dead.

I work in the mobile phone industry and my bluetooth is always turned off. I'm constantly amazed when I send files to someone else how many handsets show up when I "search" for the handset I want. There's a story about someone who did a search out of curiousity one day when in a cafe. Found lots of ...

Batman the Movie has my vote. Never played the Amiga version but loved the Spectrum version. I notice that Batman Begins hasn't been given an option though. I have to say I quite like this one too on XBox. Incidentally the last I heard was that they were making Lego Indiana Jones, not Lego Batman now.

Afterburner in Red Dwarf
XBox360 (game I don't recognise) in Chuck
Playstation 3 (game I don't care about) in Heroes (which was odd as the PS3 wasn't available in the US at the time the episode was aired)
Playstation 2 (and Timesplitters 2) in Shaun of the Dead
XBox in Eureka

I always find myself loveing games that magazines hate and hating the popular games... Brief rundown: Elite (never liked it) Ghouls 'n' Ghosts 'n' Goblins (too hard to be playable) Green Beret (repetitive) Splinter Cell and all the sequels (stealth is the worst gaming idea ever and they make a bad s...
