This game's brilliant! A proper modern scrolly-beat-em-up! :)
This is the first I've even heard of this title
It's really good, probably my favourite MK game after MKII! A lot of people think it's mediocre, but I really enjoy it.

Re: What did you all get then... :)

Amongst a few smaller things, I got a few books, Beautiful Katamari on the 360 and a PSP Slim (2000 series)! Just need to work out how to downgrade from firmware 4.01 so I can install emulators on it. (I believe I may need a pandora battery, but that's a project for another day). Anyway, merry chri...

Re: Homebrew - Love it or loathe it?

Love it. Wish I was talented enough to create. My first experience with homebrew was typing in lines of BASIC to make a lottery number generator on the family Amstrad! Loved playing the Net Yaroze games that came on the Playstation Mag demo discs.

Re: For the forum issue 86

Enduro Racer on the Master System. Got this and my copy of Hang-On for the same birthday. Apparently, totally pants compared to the Arcade, but as I have never played it I don't mind! I loved it as a kid, motorbikes were my thing and this got more play than Hang-On due to the fact I could finish it!...

Re: Hot Topic - Best Streets of Rage Game

I know SOR2 will most likely win, but for me the best in the series is SOR1. The Special Attack, the two-player co-op, the ending twist and the bosses all make it a memorable game for me, not to mention the fact it came free with my first Mega Drive. Totally blew my SNES owning friends away at the t...

Broke my leg!

3 days before Chrimbo (did it on the 22nd) fell over on some ice! Sympathy please! ;) Whilst we're on the subject, what's the worst thing that's happened to you in the festive season? I was looking forward to coming home from Uni for a bit, but this takes the biscuit! :)

Re: My daughter just cost me £100

To be fair, I don't think you can really blame the kid. To a 5 year old, real money is just like monopoly money, so spending it (especially when it's not a physical transaction) won't faze them! Glad you got the refund though, silver lining!

Re: What will you be playing this Christmas period?

I broke my ankle falling over on some ice a couple of days ago, so I'm sofa ridden. Gonna convince my sis to get the PS3 in here, then going to enjoy some cheap downloads! Merry Christmas Retro Gamer :D

Yes! Bishi Bashi is a fantastic, frantic and funny experience in multiplayer, but it's not as great for little billy-no-mates.
Oh, I sometimes Bish Bash alone ;)

I am really, really surprised Raiden III is going for that much on ebay. £50 odd quid in some respects! Glad I bought a copy when I did, I got it for £5! :D
