Utter rubbish, a poor remake of a classic. Whether you knew the plot, had read the book or seen the original you knew from scene 1 that nothing would happen to Tom Cruise and that he would not die. Which made it boring.

The PS1 version of the game was good. Difficult, but good.

My best mate's brother bought a Sam Coupe under the impression it was to be the next big thing. It was a nice machine though, and I bet he wish he'd kept it. Does anyone know how many dedicated games it had? The only one i can definitely remember was Prince of Persia, although something in my mind ...

Very much enjoyed. As mentioned before, i am not interested in every article in the mag (perhaps i don't personally like the game, genre or system) but that doesn't mean it isn't well worth a read. They certainly should not be slated for this reason. This month, loved the Boulderdash, Alex Kidd and ...

Depends on what one you grew up with. I never had a rubber keyed Speccy so found games difficult on that, my first computer was a Spectrum + and i found the keys fine for gaming and spent many years playing games on that Agreed. My 1st comp was the 48+ didn't have a joystick for years. 3 players on...

Definitely the 48k plus. Same power as the good old rubber key 48k but with a sleek keyboard upgrade and a touch of class. And, if home programming or tapping in POKEs was your thing, having a proper extend mode key made life a lot easier. Incidently at the loacl car boot yesterday a guy was selling...

James Whale = F*ckwit I always thought that too. Back in the day, my pals used to go on about how contaversial his show and guest were - I always thought he was just fat, rude and arrogant. How much talent does that require? Perhaps. Unfortunately, he has had years and years of getting paid for doi...

Strewth chill out guys, never seen so much testosterone on the forum. Just meant i would't (and didn't) pay that much for UMK3 as the MD version is crap. Wanna play UMK3? Get a saturn, much better version.

I think most people are in their 30's and above here, so I wouldn't fret about your age too much, it is called 'Retro' Gamer after all. :)
Agreed. I most certainly am! Welcome, happy emulating!

Not interested. Your prices are a wee bit OTT.

£13 for UMK3? Are you insane?

Useful, but it does not actually tell you what garage is the cheapest. Buggar that if i'm driving about looking for the cheapest price, complete waste of petrol.
