I actually quite liked the mortal Kombat feature... i always played streetfighter so dont know a lot about the series but i thought it more then did its job of being entertaining and informative.... as for the tg16 units i somehow doubt hong kong had the need for both euro 2 pin and british 3 pin ac...

I agree that its highly unlikely that NEC had a widespread official release and then sommhow forgot about it.... i just find it odd that the power cables themselves are made by NEC and specifically state that these (european) a.c. adators are for use with a turbo grafx machne. And yes there is an ob...

Oh and sorry to appear ignorant but does anything pre-nes and master system era count as 8 bit? I can see how Amiga is 16 bit as games usually look great even when compared to the snes and megadrive... but as for the early machines (spectrums, atari, bbc and other randoms) they usually look like ab...

Get yourself over to Lemon64 , have a look at the screenshots for "Mayhem in Monsterland", "Turrican 2", "Turbocharge", "Shadow of the Beast", "Armalyte" and "Uridium" (though that last one's all on t...

Beauty's in the eye of the beholder, but I'd say the majority of C64 titles easily hold their own on a graphics front against the equivalents on the SMS and NES. I'm sure if TMR's about, he could talk about the relative merits of the platforms from a performance standpoint, but my understanding is ...

As for the PAL TurboGrafx - if there was an official release, where are the games? ;) On ebay... I get what you mean that there wasnt a widespread release of the turbografx in europe but it did happen... like i said I have 2 pal units (there were tons on ebay recently) which are branded differently...

wow great issue, still reading it but absolutely loved the pc engine article, one small hang up tho... why bother putting streetfighter 2 in the Perfect top 10 games? I mean it's not as if anyone would buy a pc engine just to savour a game that isnt as good as the snes and megadrive version.... and ...
