Cool so it's okay to update to the latest firmware now and softmod it later down the line? (I'm gonna ask a friend to softmod it in a few weeks as I'm just rubbish at this sort of thing :o )

Quick megadrive/ game gear question

Can't find my megadrive/game gear plug anywhere. Does anyone know if it's safe to use a plug that says this on the back - input 100~240VAC

Output: 9V ________ 1.5A

- the connector fits but don't want to risk blowing my consoles up.thanks in advance

Re: Name me some obscure Snes/Megadrive games to play

It's been a while so I might be mixing it up with another japanese game but ghost chaser densie is a decent final fight clone, arguably better then the snes final fight - it has been a long time tho so don't hold me to that....

Re: Sensible Soccer - consoles

Just get as good a striker as you can. Sell everyone else off to finance it. You want someone with pace and ball control.... The transfer system is a total mess but google around for good strikers.

Re: Sensible Soccer - consoles

360 version is easily the best version ive played, the transfer market is still completely broken like in every other version of SWOS, as much as i love the snes and megadrive the games are broken as they're ridiculously easy and the goalies are terrible. I think there is an okay game gear version f...

Re: Name me some obscure Snes/Megadrive games to play

curse + battle mania on megadrive.

Battle soccer 2 on snes is like megaman soccer but a bit better... its oddly compelling footy game thats better then 99% of actual football games

100% cotton on snes is amazing

Re: Sega fans - what has filled the space they occupied for

Realistically I was living in a bit of a bubble by just playing my old systems until I realised that apart from the Yakuza series the last good non re-release SEGA (as in a new game developed in Japan by an internal Sega studio) game I can think of was Outrun 2006.... so yes... things have been bad ...

Sorry was away for the while. so didn't notice replies, Its actually quite cool, i lack the knowhow of how to get an emulator going on the machine to be honest and its comfortable, and i just don' really like emulation compared to playing the cartridges... the only big drawback i noticed is that my ...

Anyway my question is, can I plug it in in the uk using a standard gba charger? It has a port for a gba charger but I don't know if it's safe to use a uk plug...
