Re: What are you currently playing?

I've also started Splinter Cell Double Agent for the Xbox 360 in preperation for SC Conviction. So far I am really loving this game. Trying to complete the JBA missions while also trying to not get spotted or kill anyone adds an extra layer of depth to the missions (I can see me playing at least tw...

Re: What game have you COMPLETED this week

Completed the first Professor Layton game. Lovely game! Can't wait to get my hands on the second one in September. Also bought The Dig off from Steam and completed it. I have to say, that I didn't remember how awesome the soundtrack is. Also the overall atmosphere is top notch. Only the ending is a ...

Re: Point n Click

Here in Germany we also used "Grafik-Abenteuer", so graphic adventure. Could be a regional thing :) In my case it's similar to what harlequ1n said: The whole foundation of my English got established by classic point 'n click adventures. It began with Leisure Suit Larry ( ;) ) with some very basic wo...

Re: What are you currently playing?

Yep, Psychonauts is just great. The only gripe I had with it, was on of the last levels. It was classic Trial & Error plattforming, very bad design when compared with the awesome rest of the game. @topic: Still waiting for Blazblue for PS3 and Devil Survivors for DS to arrive. Until then I'm in the ...

Re: What game have you COMPLETED this week

Just finished Crysis. Wow! That game not only looks outstanding, but plays really tight too. I'd recommend it to anyone with a decent PC. I haven't had this much fun with a first-person shooter for a long time!

Re: Anyone else hungry for the next gen?

As I'm still playing more on PS2 and DS than on my "next gen"-systems I can wait without problem. Especially if the coming generation goes with motion-controls all the way. I don't want them, I just want to relax when I'm gaming. If I want to do some excercise I sit on my bike and drive a quick tour...

Re: What are you currently playing?

After 82 hours I finished Persona 4 with the perfect ending. Okay, now on to Devil Summoner 2! So far I'm in the fourth chapter and I really like it. It's so much better than the first part. Great thing. Hopefully Atlus delivers many many more Shin Megami Tensei games. It has become my favorite seri...

Re: Metroid: Other M (wii)

Looks really good. I'm happy that the Prime era seems to be gone. I don't know, never had that much fun with the lot. Hopefully Team Ninja keeps a good balance between exploration and action. Looking forward to it!

Re: Super Stardust HD

It really is the key. If you die early on it's better to restart at once. 10x multiplier on planet 4 is just crazy to get a lot of points. With a bit of practice it's quite possible. I didn't get my score on the second try or so. Must've been 20 hours I got into Stardust :D

Re: Super Stardust HD

Ooops, it's in fact 213220900 ; quite some time. Oh, I'm sure you can top that, as I'm number 1285 on the leaderboard. I think there are separate ones for the different difficulty settings. Best one on normal has 1732826655. Now that's a score I have no clue how to beat :D

Re: Super Stardust HD

To get a score like this you have to complete the game on normal several times without dying. It's very important to keep your multiplier at the maximum. But after the first cycle it gets really nasty. Don't know what my highscore is, should check it. But I think it was about 114000000. But I don't ...

Still playing Persona 4 on the PS2. Got the Normal Ending last night so now I'm going for the perfect ending. Yay, another 5 hour dungeon romp :D

Re: Poll: Duke Nukem Forever - Reader Reaction

It's a real shame. I really hope, that it will be completed by another team. The leaked material really looked like a real funny oldschool fps. I'm kind of fed up with all the Modern Warfare crap. I just want to have fun and a hero who throws a one-liner everytime I shoot an alien in the head :D
