I tried some old Amsoft games on my CPC a few days ago, and several of the "sprites" (hohum...) in those games colourclashed with other sprites or background

Having a quick look at the CPC graphics I would assume it is done by the same team that did Trantor the last stormtrooper and Savage. Nick Bruty on graphics and Dave Perry code. Spannerman and Laserwarp on the Amstrad CPC 464 in february 1985. The early CPCs didn't have any games bundled, I believe they started including them for Christmas 1986

Thanks Mrs Ant :) Now with that issue settled, lets move on to the CPC vs Atari ST screenshot. Which one looks better? ;) I assume their playability is about the same on both version. I have only tried the CPC and PC versions

To those that didn't notice, I listed two companies;

Atari (Infogrammes, Ocean, Amiga, Warner, Commodore, Atari)

and Sky (Amstrad,Sinclair)

why do the Speccyscreen only have 4 colours in the main window in the screenshot shown? On the CPC this is a limitation of the screen-mode used. The upper part of the screen could have had 4 other colours or say 16 colours if lowres 160x200 had been used in that part. Is there a technical reason for...
