Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 126

There's nothing to stop ipmarks or yourself LostDragon (or anyone else one here for that matter) pitching articles for RG... you both come across as very knowledgeable blokes and I'd be interested in reading any features by you in the mag...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 126

There is also something called taste. I imagine RG would actually like to hear what their readers _like_ (or not) indeed, although we clearly have a group of sycophants and lickspittle as well as paper thin skinned writers, who wish to stamp out anything negative and who seem completely oblivious t...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 126

:? So i was being patronising then? *sigh* No it came across as if you were impyling my post was being patronising as in, and I quote " "if writers are going to start saying we had no idea how hard it was to get hold of X, Y and Z, basically it's in danger of starting to sound like 'we should be gr...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 126

This is getting a bit out of hand and silly now.... how many more RG writers want to chip in and call me patronising? Also i never said anyone was patronising, so how i can be addressed with 'now who's being patronising?' Is confusing. I don't think i was rude at all to Martyn, rather i pointed out...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 126

Not really sure about your beef ipmarks, I can't speak for the other writers but I personally take on board the constructive criticism here, and in fact often agree with it. I was merely pointing out that it was indeed difficult to secure interviews sometimes, and (jokingly) discussing with The Lair...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 126

So true and I myself have just got hold of a few people that I have been chasing for 2 years now!!!!! My record's definitely Ballblazer, I'd been trying to get an interview with the creator since I started writing for the mag back in 2007! Likewise the Cinemaware and Access software pieces ...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 126

Think if nothing else is 'taken from' this months feedback thread by the RG team, it should be that the long term readership would really like to see a few fresh names interviewed for all future articles:Nes/Atari/ZX Spectrum8/16 bit, hardware/software related. To be fair this issue has the develop...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 126

No mention of Ballblazer Champions on Playstation in the Ballblazer article? also would have thought Hyperdrome on Atari Lynx might have cropped up on Future Sports section.
There is a mention, albeit not much of one as Dave L. really disliked it.

It's not Starflight but out of interest would anyone be interested in a making of Knights of the Sky?

Re: Retro Gamer Issue 121 Official feedback

Too bad there was very little about Octapolis in the English Software story, the developer, Jukka Tapanimäki, was one of the first famous Finnish ones along with Stavros Fasoulas. From what I've heard over the years and read from a Finnish Commodore magazine, he was later really screwed by Hewson, ...

Re: Retro Gamer Issue 121 Sneak Peek

Some nice stuff this issue... never played Wind Waker but it looks like a quite extensive and interesting feature so I'll give that a go. Looking forward to reading the Bombuzal, Compilation and Rambo bits too... Adrian!! Woops, wrong film...
