Just wanted to register my enjoyment of the twisted logic of the phrase '..and anyone who thinks otherwise is clearly a Nazi.'

Oh and great issue Darran & co ;)

I am loving living here as well. It's really easy to live here when everyone is so polite Man I'm very jealous ;) Gleylancer is indeed a lovely game . http://www.stickycarpet.com/dam/damgleylancer.htm Might be a bit expensive to pick up though, even in Japan, unless of course you find somewhere tha...

I'm not a big fan of pre-rendered 2D as a general rule, I much prefer hand drawn stuff but there are a few exceptions, like Pulstar which has a semi-rendered look but without that crappy fuzzy 'stuck-on' meh-ness. Soukyugurentai on the Saturn is another good example http://www.stickycarpet.com/dam/d...

It's just a very well implemented 'manic shmup' which for me has got better with time, unlike gigawing 2 which has become more and more pants ;) Yes it's not the prettiest of shmups on the DC but I love how the reflect system is implemented here (better than the gigaW's) and picking up millions and ...

3 mint copies of Alien Soldier on the Megadrive from a computer games shop in Poole (no longer there so don't bother looking for it!). Bargained the owner down to 10 quid for all of them. Kept one myself, bunged the other two on Ebay, one went for 90 quid the other for 75 ;) Ahh.. my days of such ra...

Mars Matrix is blimmin brilliant on DC if you ask me. I used to own the CPS2 board and there was no difference I could see between the two. So I dumped the board and kept the DC one! There's a review on my site if you fancy checking it out It's by far the best Takumi shooter being better than the Gi...

Not sure of the personal chronology but it was either:

Space Pilot for the Commodore 64 by Anirog software. Wonder what happened to them?

Really rather good version of Time Pilot that was, one of my fave arcade games at the time.

or..

Falcon Patrol by Virgin (c64). Good game ;)

It would be an excuse to publish dodgy pics of Ginger Lynn Allen. I'm all for it.
Now here's a man (I assume ;)) who knows where I'm coming from..

Nothing wrong with a decent introductory FMV such as Gradius V's..

Just so long as it's not the whole game.. eh Psygnosis?

Have to admit though the latter Wing Commanders are a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine ;)

Dammit.. only just saw this. Super Pipeline (and it's sequel) or true classics of the 8-bit era, and timeless pieces of game design. Would have asked if Taskset got introuble with Bozo's Night Out.. can't imagine a game about the misadventures of a beerswilling reprobate on his way home from the pub...
