Not exactly a gaming moment per se; but I remember a friend lending me Kings Quest IV on the Amiga without the instruction book. Having completed most of the Sierra on line adventures at the time, I loaded it up excitedly and then realised the protection system needed you to check a page, line, word...

Just had an op on my left thumb, it is heavily bandaged.

It means I cant pick up a normal type controller at all.

Thank god for the Wii, at least I can still play Sports and amuse myself with Warioware.

I would have to agree with Scooby on and others on this. Out of my consoles (other than my Wii and 360), the Dreamcast is the console I play on most. A good example would be Virtua Tennis 2K2. I can't really put a finger on why, but I find it infinately more playable and more fun than Virtua Tennis ...

For any fans of of older 'Thrash',

Try the re-issue of Doomsday for the Deceiver by Flotsam and Jetsam.

Jason Newstead was in this band before he joined Metallica.

Bought it a couple of weeks back when it was on offer at Play.

I've enjoyed lots of the Street Fighters over the years.

I must confess that my favourite version is/was Super Street Fighter II Turbo on the 3DO.

Just came across issue 38 by accident in the local newsagents.

Love the magazine. I didn't realise there was a magazine such as this to cater for my retro gaming addiction!!

Looking forward to delving into the forum pages.
