Not all of them are bad-I bought a Technika 40" from Tesco at Christmas for the games room, and it's brilliant-cost me £270. I can recommend them.

Re: What are you currently playing?

Wonderboy 3 on my Master System, my lord it is tough :( The Dragons Trap? One of the greatest games of all time and the single greatest game on the SMS. Superb game. Wonderboy 3 is the ONLY SMS game I have on my 'must play before I die' list - nothing against the SMS but I see no other games on tha...

Re: ZX Spectrum 30th Anniversary Book - sold out?

Just been onto the Imagine shop after seeing the advert in the mag, only to find it's sold out there AND on Amazon - so Darran (or any other staffers) - any plans to run any more of these off, I'd really like a copy! To clarify, it's the reversible one with the C64 on the other side. Saw a few of t...

Re: Sinclair ZX Spectrum +2 128k - Help!

COMPLETELY forgot the +3 posesses such ports. @Lofarius - either machine will give a good experience, I'm just a bit sentimental about the +2 as I had one as a bairn....

Re: Sinclair ZX Spectrum +2 128k - Help!

Pic added for Lofarius's benefit - here it is in action - http://i371.photobucket.com/albums/oo158/andymac183/IMG_0373.jpg It's really that simple - 3.5mm plug into iPhone, insert tape into drive and route the cable out through the tape door at the front. After getting this, I didn't feel the need t...

Same here - as it should be. Anything else is madness.

Re: Which book(s) are you currently reading?

I've nearly finished Life of Pi - a very interesting story about a young Indian boy that survived a shipwreck and is trapped in a lifeboat with a Bengal Tiger, although the underlying theme is quite religious and philosophical. a great book, not sure if the Tiger was ever on the boat though...........

Re: Sound dock recommendation...

I don't know a lot about docks, I only have a little Logitech 20 quid job in my games room, downstairs my IPhone goes into the big hifi instead. But Bose are known for being overpriced, I reckon you could do better for the money you are prepared to spend. What are the big names putting out there? So...

Re: Retro-bikes

I recently completed one myself - I bought a beaten-up Scott (unsure of age) and cannibalised that and my orignal bike into one decent rig. My original ride was a 1995 Specialized Hardrock GX, which I absolutely loved and did hundreds of miles on...until I passed my car test, since then it's been ke...

Re: Suffers of Hayfever In Trouble

I had my worst day yet this year - yesterday, started at 7am and symptoms didn't stop until midnight. This is a very useful guide - http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/family/cheap-hayfever-remedies Yesterday I popped a Tesco tablet (active ingredient Cetirizine Hydrochloride) and I've been taking thos...

Re: Suffers of Hayfever In Trouble

MY GOD I've been terrible today, never even stepped outside of my office either.Day spent going back and forth to the toilet to dry out my hanky under the hand dryer :) Was supposed to go cycling tonight and have had to cancel because I'd probably crash in this state. Seriously - any tips welcome, i...

Re: Just Cause

I'm 31!! Just a nipper. I've got Just Cause 2 as well, the result of a Steam sale. I spent so long setting up joy2key to play the first one properly I didn't want to give up too soon. I think I'll call it a day then. What next is now the big decision... something different. I did exactly the same a...

Re: The Show us your cars thread

Loving this thread, espesh the Alfa's, Jap stuff and the Pug 205 - used to have a 1.9 GTi in Red meself and I regret selling that more than my Amiga 1200. My current daily driver - http://i371.photobucket.com/albums/oo158/andymac183/PICT0017.jpg although I'm considering semi-retiring her and taking ...
