Re: Free stuff in cereals and crisps...

It had a scene from the film on the back of the packet, and then you'd spend ages soaking mini Stormtroopers in warm water and placing them on the scene. I had the Death Star docking bay with the Millenium Falcon, and I r...

If some blonde guy in a brown dressing gown comes round looking for it-don't open the door.

Re: I'm getting my nerd on, Star Trek stylee

Never been to anything like that (apart from retro events!) - Looks awesome. I've recently rekindled my love of Star Trek by rewatching all the TNG's from the beginning, started a few weeks ago - Pick TV on Sky are showing 2 a night Mon-Fri!

Re: Your Unpopular Opinion!

I would hardly call that fair. I dont see the same level of disdain aimed at others who knowingly harm their health in similar ways such as excessive drinking, smoking or at the other end of the scale, starve themselves. Obesity and Anorexia are two sides of the same coin and can stem from the same...

Re: Speccy Nation - A New Book

This has prompted me to make my first Kindle purchase for my iPad - and a great way to start! Read the first 15 pages or so last night, really good - and at a quid, ridiculous value.

if he's not joking and is in fact seriously a BNP supporter then what issue is it to you? And what issue is it to you? Are you the forum's defender of BNP supporters? no but i will always defend free speech to the end, so he's a BNP supporter, so what, yes it means he's backing the politica...

Re: Your Unpopular Opinion!

Yeah we're cool....!

Just thought of another one. Reality TV. Or should I say, 'Totally Contrived TV', and it was sad to see Top Gear go that route, although I make an exception there as the lads are so loveably daft.

Re: Your Unpopular Opinion!

how come this has become a 'things I hate thread' rather than an 'unpopular opinion' thread? Well - it's more 'Normally popular things that I hate' - although my BNP comments don't qualify in retrospect, that was more of a reply to an earlier comment, my bad. I don't think that can be counted as a ...

AWESOME, AWESOME THREAD. I've contributed little of late but feel compelled to add my thoughts! Popular things I hate - Soap Operas and the aforementioned Saturday Evening Telly. Telly in general in fact - apart from a few shows (Currently rewatching Start Trek TNG on Sky for example) most of it is ...
