Re: 3DO M2 game made available.

That IMSA racing game looks really nice for the era. Cool to see footage of an M2 game after all this time.

So you want Retro Gamer to cost a lot more, have less pages and not be published monthly then?
Exactly how would using multiple screenshots to fill the 2 pages instead of one giant pixellated one cause the mag to have less pages?????

Re: NO MORE 2 PAGE SCREENSHOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't like them I think its just lazy on RG behalf. Retro Gamer is just wasting space by putting them in and I'm paying for the magazine. If I want to see pictures then there are plenty on the net to view. More info or a one page article would be better value for money. I agree - the big screenshot...

Re: Recommend me some PC Games from the 90's

It seems to me no one mentioned the Freespace series. Also good are the pro pinball games, especially Big race usa. What do you think of Darkseed(1 and 2)? In my list, I intentionally left off the Pro Pinball games except the first one. Based on the description of the PC to be used, I was thinking ...

Re: Recommend me some PC Games from the 90's

Some of my suggestions:

Warcraft (I might be the only person alive that liked the first one more than the second)
Warcraft II
Starcraft
Command & Conquer
Pinball Fantasies
Pro Pinball: The Web
Duke Nukem 3D
Quake II
Tyrian

Re: Which Arcade Game were you best at?

For me, it would be:

Time Pilot
Mappy

I wasn't great at either great but I pretty much always got the high score on them when playing.

I sucked at pretty much everything else :)

Re: Did you ever write games?

I have done a few games over the years: 1) A whole bunch of really crappy text-based quiz games in BASIC on the Apple IIe 2) A really horrible skiing game in BASIC on the Apple IIe - made even more awesome by my complete lack of art skills 3) A handful of card games in Visual Basic 6 - blackjack, Co...

Nonsense. Your country is not the world and the Speccy is virtually unknown in some other regions.
I, for one, wouldn't mind seeing a little less Speccy/CPC coverage and more Apple II coverage.

Re: Official Feedback for Issue 65

1) Even if shiny, I think the Metroid cover looks mediocre at best. Looks like something that was completed in about 5 minutes by somebody rushing to meet a deadline. Not even close to the quality we've come to expect from RG. Trust me, seeing it in the shiny flesh makes a huge difference. I really...

Since I'm in the U.S. it'll be a month or two before I can actually READ this issue but I'll comment anyway: 1) Even if shiny, I think the Metroid cover looks mediocre at best.
