Right platform! :)

Wrong game. :(

AFAIK, the game was only ever released for the SAM.

No, but it has something in common with the Amstrad.

(Can someone please replace the :P smiley? It's so bad I'm ashamed to use it.)

More clues: it's a British platform.

SirClive wrote:Whats that then? (sorry, I know balls all about it I just know it had been talked about recently).
16-bit I think, same processor as the Amiga and ST IIRC.

This one's of roughly similar vintage, but it's an 8-bit machine.

I have to say, I'm curious to see what this mystery platform is.
The platform sounds like it was designed for racing games.

The main problem with PCs, was when they *tried* to be serious gaming platforms, but everything was in cyan and censored magenta - with bleep sound. Oh, how we laughed... :D Unfortunately a big drawback of CGA graphics and internal PC Speakers/Bleepers  Absolutely, but we're probably talking a...

It's not a taboo subject. It's just not a gaming subject. It's something only of interest to those who collect for the sake of collecting, who don't appreciate the intended value of what they collect but only value it because they've been told it's "collectible". Nothing wrong with that. It's like c...

Looks like it could possibly be a JAVA based on line version or something. Is it a fully commercially released game? Commercially released in 1994 I believe. It isn't JAVA or a remake, and it is for a genuinely "retro" platform. It is very obviously "inspired" by Lords of Midnight though. As a hint...

:) Anyway, with Merman's permission and because you were right about the screenshot, I'll post up the next one as I'm going to be offline for a bit. Warning: this one's a bit obscure, but only because the platform isn't one you often see screenshots for. Two screenshots for you... http://i201.photob...

It's a mystery.

Literally. It's Mystery of the Nile for the CPC. I wouldn't have got it without the emperor's pointer which is why I didn't want to steal his thunder. :)
