The original where you had to hold the phone sideways against your head to make a call and look a nit (plus remove the battery to change games) or the slightly improved second edition?

Did anyone buy the awful Gizmodo?

Re: Inappropiate mistake in today's Daily Mirror.

Load of ol over sensitive claptrap. Sadly/fortunately its the mirror - their readers will go nuts. No such thing as an honest mistake to them. Also to the OP...you read the mirror? Bizzarrely the same story is on the cover of the Metro, with an advert for Domino's at the bottom! I'm not a saddo who...

Inappropiate mistake in today's Daily Mirror.

I've noticed that The Daily Mirror has made a slight fug up in today's edition. There's a story about the Crimewatch reconstruction of the woman Jo Yeates who was murdered in Bristol. It shows the actress who is portraying her, buying a pizza in Tesco just as Jo did. Meanwhile on the opposite page, ...

Do you collect failed game systems?

I don't collect game systems, but am fascinated by failed game systems (as well as other other failed technology, it's interesting to analyse why they failed) and if I didn't collect then this is what I'd probably specialise in. Are there any collectors on here who collect failed game systems or com...

Re: Comedy Rocks with Jason Manford

ITV1 tonight - 9pm. A mate of mine is a comedy agent, and one of his acts "The Boy With Tape On His Face" will be shown on Comedy Rocks this evening. Watch it! (I may Sky+ it so I don't have to watch the musical acts) He is the act I most wanted to see after hearing about him. Sorry, but he just di...

Re: Back to the Future - UK cinema release!

For those of you in London who missed out on the recent digital re-release of BTTF, then the Prince Charles Cinema will be showing it from this weekend.

Re: Back to the Future - UK cinema release!

For anyone in the capital who didn't around to seeing BTTF on the big screen, then it is being shown at the Barbican this Saturday evening (although I don't know if it's the remastered digital version or not). As mentioned above the Barbican was showing BTTF this evening and had a DeLorean on displ...

I was passing through Charing Cross station last night and spotted that the giant Sky News video screen had crashed giving this giant Windows error message.

Well, it amused me!

Re: More cheap retro gaming T shirts at Primark...

Thanks for the heads up in this thread.

Within five minutes of reading this thread I went straight to Primark to get the BTTF one.

Also got a retro audio t-shirt and a Spiderman and Batman top. :D
