Re: iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch game recommendations

Lets not forget NBA Jam was released yesterday for £2.99.

Used to love this so may pick it up even before the inevitable EA price drop :D

Re: iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch game recommendations

You can also get Gamebox 2 for 59p.

This one only has 14 games at present but pretty good quality. The same company also have a Wii sports clone called Yoo sports and this one is worth a look too.

Re: Play by Mail Football

You used to get a multi sheet 'turn' through the post each week containing match info, transfer markets, team info, stadium info, results, leagues and more. Was rather comprehensive too :D On the last sheet you wrote your team and tactics for the next match and any other things such as sponsorship d...

Re: Way of the Exploding Fist / International Karate

Not sure about WOTEF or IK+ but Karate Champ still holds up very well today and i would highly recommend that anyone with an iphone/ipad downloads the game as it works incredibly well with the virtual sticks.....Top top game :D

Re: Play by Mail Football

I played in one called Soccerstar for around 12 years costing £1.60 per week.

It went over to play by e-mail and it was at this time i left as it never had that same appeal as receiving my weekly paper turn through the post :(

Re: iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch game recommendations

I have a 16gb phone with 1.4gb free plus loads of games in my itunes library that i don't have space for.

The thing i find is that the prices are so cheap that i think it would be rude not to buy a game or two every few days meaning i end up with far too many to play :)

Re: Favourite (End of) Movie Fights

I wouldn't argue with most of what has already been said along with Bruce Lee v Chuck Norris in Way of the dragon. Also the end fight in my favourite movie Revenge of the ninja as this really takes some beating

I think it's great value for money and for some reason the games seem harder than i ever remember. I once played Columns for 3 hours straight before having to turn it off but today i hit game over in about 5 minutes

A good few years ago Bravo ran a season of Troma films and there were loads on. Remember recording most of them but never got around to watching though :(

I think the second one (Blue Brothers 2000) was doomed when they didn't cast John Belushi. Goodman was not a very good replacement. Belushi was way better than Goodman but as much as the producers tried they couldn't get Belushi to make a comback from the grave to star in the sequel, no matter how ...
