Re: What grinds your gears ?

People who use the bus lane to skip traffic queues and hop ahead of others on the entrance ramp to a carpark. I find myself wishing them all the ills of the world. There is a road in Salford (near Oasis aquarium if you are from the area) coming out of Manchester which is slightly wider than usual b...

Re: Why are nintendo fans

Bowing out early from the hardware market brings a certain martyrdom - you could say Sega are like Cobain or Lennon or even Elvis, whereas Nintendo are the Rolling Stones. I like Nintendo but I also like that anology, I think you hit the nail on the head. The Rolling Stones no doubt have a big loya...

Re: What is everyone after for this Xmas?

I'm hopefully getting a couple of bottles of whisky, an iTunes voucher, some aftershave and maybe an iCade.

I love Christmas :) opening the first door on my chocolate advent calendar today got me into the festive spirit (i'm 31  )

Dominic Monaghan's voice on Wild Things with Dominic Monaghan. I can't work out if its just his voice that annoys me or him in general, but I like the actual programme. It was the same problem with that Robson Green fishing programme

Re: Games room.

Thats fantastic, it will be great run filling it all up with gaming goodness :)

I'm making my loft conversion into a gaming room and I plan of framing some of my old posters, the type that came folded up in game boxes or inside old magazines, i've quite a lot to choose from.

Re: What is your game-defining timeline?

Dob - 1981 Childhood - Treasure Island Dizzy (Spectrum), Alex Kidd in Miracle World (SMS) Teenage - Burn Cycle (CD-I), Monkey Island (PC) Adult - Tomb Raider 2 (PS1), GTA IV (PS3) That was really difficult and i'm not sure i'm happy with my choices as I'm missing loads of games that I really spent a...

Re: Morrisons Bargain Bin Games

I picked up Zelda for the 3DS last night for £10, there were quite a few £10 3DS games but that one stood out as actually being worth more than £10. I'll give it my little cousin for Christmas as I don't actually own a 3DS. I was tempted by Lollipop Chainsaw but unsure if it's actually a good game o...

Re: Limited/Collector's Editions Thread

I don't have any modern ones except the Fallout 3 Lunchbox which I received as a gift, I do think it's cool though. Here are some older ones: Master System Disney Briefcase: http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n45/jamescostello/dgp1.jpg Lucky Dime Caper Limited Edition set with audio cassette and tsh...

Re: iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch game recommendations

I've tested the app on an iPhone 4S & a iPad 2. Both work fine (There had been reports that it doesn't work on the iPad 2) and I haven't had any software crashes so far. Touch screen controls work far better on the iPad obviously due to there being more space on the screen but really to get the mos...

However level 2 on Mine Storm keeps freaking out on me for a few seconds usually resulting in me then dying soon after :( hopefully they will fix the bug s...
