Re: retro gaming museum and archive

Woah, just read this part again: "Our aim will be to open the museum 6 times a year to the public". Okay, so basically you want to disguise your private collection as a museum to gain certain benefits. Great, that's what the world needs. If you can't run a permanent exhibition, don't plan it as a m...

Re: From the forum issue 117 Best Master System game

Zillion is up there with the best in my opinion, I have many fond memories of plotting out a map on paper as I went along so when I finally managed to set the timer going to destroy the mainframe I could follow the quickest route back.. Genuinely heart pumping action!

Re: Another Government Statistic

I'm not sure of your line of work but I found job centres unhelpful and depressing, this was over 6 years ago though, maybe things have changed. My advice, as its what I did and it worked, is to go to some recruitment agencies. I did not really have any prior admin or office experience but I went al...

People who use the bus lane to skip traffic queues and hop ahead of others on the entrance ramp to a carpark. I find myself wishing them all the ills of the world. There is a road in Salford (near Oasis aquarium if you are from the area) coming out of Manchester which is slightly wider than usual b...

Re: Franchises/Series' that haven't let you down

I've enjoyed all 3 Uncharteds so far, number 3 nearly annoyed me with the messing about in the desert etc but overall I still really enjoyed the game. Struggling to think of anything else that didnt end up going off the boil. I would also add GTA but I only played to death the 1st one and IV, I neve...

Re: Your first Lego set

Ive always loved lego, I have all my original lego sets but all the bits are split into block type now rather than original sets. As a kid I had (among a lot of other sets) a Space Monorail, Eldorado Fortress thing and a large Technics sports car. More recently I bought myself a Lego Tower Bridge, q...

I don't have any modern ones except the Fallout 3 Lunchbox which I received as a gift, I do think it's cool though. Here are some older ones: Master System Disney Briefcase: http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n45/jamescostello/dgp1.jpg Lucky Dime Caper Limited Edition set with audio cassette and ts...

Re: The Great Disappointment

I am always grateful for what I receive but I can remember quite well feeling dissapointed on 2 occasions with gifts I received at Christmas. One time I had asked for Mortal Kombat for the Master System and instead had been bought Arcade Smash Hits. Back then you were lucky to get one or even two ga...
