Re: Has trading died?

New threads have been created but not replied to as oldtimer says.
It was a great addition to the forum and proved to be very popular.
As Antiriad says, a lot of the 'top' traders have gone. :(

Re: From The Forum issue 171 - Best In The World

I held a World Record on Twin Galaxies for the last 4 years.
I showed it to someone at work last month and It had been beaten. Twice.

When I say beaten, I mean smashed.

It was an absolute chore trying to set it in the first place. I know I'll never regain it. :(

Re: Original Xbox to be added to XBOne Backwards Compatability

I think Forza still looks good and it plays better than a lot of newer racing games.

You could always contact Keith Ainsworth direct.
I think I still have his email address if you would like it, as I used to do lots of trades and buying off him.
Same here.
In fact Keith ran the "original" Retrogamer Fanzine

Really? Doesn't show it on the box and I can't find any reference to it anywhere.
Apart from the handheld version.

is the sd card just for saving?
Pretty sure the Flashback doesn't have an SD card which makes the Retron the better purchase.

Official video weirdly showing Pitfall running way too fast.
Doesn't mention adding games, is the sd card just for saving??

As for connectivity, my VCS connects to my modern tv just fine.
"Spectacular 720p output" as a selling point? :?

Re: Retron 77

I believe it's going to have 4:3 and 16:9 image options.
Switches on the front might not be final - don't look like they actually move.
£50 tops and I'll get one.
Decent enough design, I think they're limited to fitting it into their standard design shape.

Re: World of Spectrum down?

offering to sell the entire Spectrum catalogue on 3xCD. When I got my first PC, I joined WoS and jumped at the chance of having all those games, I was never going to get them all using dial up!! At that time it was only 1xcd and I gladly paid for it (and still have it). I can't remember how much I ...
