Re: this guys opinion on the original xbox

This comment almost made me not watch it (or read the rest of the post). But.....I clicked. I had to flick through it rapidly though - not sure ...

Re: Where is RG sold in the US?

It's actually probably closer to the US version of Waterstones.

It'd be awesome if mouse/keyboard was supported on consoles, would make playing FPS games awesome :D
That's what PC's are for! :D
Console controllers don't detract from FPS gaming.

Re: C+VG's Retro Sections from the 90s

Well possibly, but they won't come from him as all his Retro Gamer issues are "long gone"! :(

I'll have to look mine out but I think I might only have 6 issues.

Re: C+VG's Retro Sections from the 90s

As mentioned above Keith A's Original 'Retro Gamer' fanzine would be fascinating. I don't suppose they're available as PDFs anywhere? Unfortunately not. I contacted him after reading your post. Hoping that I'd be able to purchase issues that I don't have. He isn't actively involved in the gaming sc...

Do you mean Hill Street Blues which is a bit like the original top-down GTA?
Eventually! Thanks for that, I thought he was making it up :)

Now that I've seen it though, I don't think I'll bother trying it out.

Except Space Panic was a hugely popular arcade game that was ported to almost every home format of the early 80s :?
I think it was only ever ported to the Colecovision.

Re: From The Forum issue 172 - ZX Spectrum Anniversary

I still have my 48K+ but don't use it nowadays. However, my spectrum usage is still regular via emulation. My PSP has Fuse-PSP and the original Xbox has both Fuse and DidntXSpectrum. Both are great but I do still prefer to play using the keyboard so its via ZXspin on my laptop or Spectaculator on my...

Re: unreleased bootled cds/dvds

"Selective Piracy" :) Not saying it's right or wrong (although legally, it's wrong!), I've seen whole stalls at record fairs trading in bootlegs. Weirdly, they don't get "traded freely" but sold. I'm pretty sure you haven't received all your bootlegs free of charge. Again, not judging. I bought one ...
