Re: Retro Gamer Issue 119 - Feedback Thread

Loved the cover, great feature on Q*Bert which made me fire up Mame and have a go, I'd never played it before. Fav bit was the Sandy White interview, good read that.

The Zeppelin Games feature though has part of the first paragraph repeated in the 2nd one! Whoops!

The price had a lot to do with it, it seemed that the few people I knew with...

Re: What were your blind-buys as a child??

I can't remember the other one - Speccy, around 1987. Called something like Deathball or Deathmatch. You (supposedly) controlled a sports team who had to beat another team through a maze...with a ball. Sketchy memories do not hide the terribleness of the game. Was is this one? Deathball 2000? http:...

Re: What were your blind-buys as a child??

On my 14th birthday in 1984 I went into town after school with my birthday money and bought 'Trashman' on the Spectrum straight away. Good purchase! Wandered around town, couldn't find anything else, went back to the same shop and bought 'Mrs Mopp' cos I must have liked the cover. Got it home and it...

I'm after a Master System Pad if anyone has one spare? My DPad thingy has become completely disconnected from the pad itself.
