Re: Issue 131

If it was a budget release on the Spectrum then WOS would have had an inlay posted by now. I'm 99% certain it wasn't re-released on the Spectrum. :D

I'll stand corrected if you can show me a Sliver Label Spectrum inlay! And I'll eat my sweaty socks if you do! :)

Re: Issue 131

Ah yes but only on the CBM 64. The Spectrum version was never re-released as a budget game. And the C64 version was never released as a full price title! :) C64 version (with only the Silver label inlay) http://www.lemon64.com/?game_id=1042 Spectrum version (the only version of the game written by M...

Re: Issue 131

Enjoyed the Mev Dinc article but, I'm a stickler for ZX Spectrum facts, on Page 92 it states that 'Gerry the Germ Goes Body Poppin' was published as 'a budget game' on 'Firebird's Silver label'. It was not. These Silver games were sold for £1.99 and 'Gerry the Germ...' was released on their 'HOT' la...

Re: Issue 130

There's a nice double page spread on 'Wizball' in the latest edition of Retro Gamer Magazine but... "(Wizball) had perhaps one of the most bizarre endings of all time and marked the end of Ocean as it's (Sensible Software's) publisher."!? So what about: http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b357/mlucife...

Well said Darran. It's one of my Fav games of all time. It's full of atmosphere, some great music and a weird as hell storyline.

Re: From the forum issue 126 - Favourite isometric games

Mine has to be, an obvious choice, Knight Lore. We'd all seen the adverts at school and everyone was wondering what that, and Underwurlde, were going to be like (as no previews were published at all, not ONE screen shot!). I remember my friend Adrian Singh (who used to do all the pokes for 'Sinclair...
