Re: John Hughes RIP :(

Might have to stick Planes, Trains & Automobiles on over the weekend in his honour, it's such a f*cking funny film. Which is your fave scene?? I love the car reservation clerk at the airport and the dialogue (probably not quoted word for word here) : "You can start by wiping that fcuking smile of y...

Re: John Hughes is dead :(

Lets not forget Weird Science (for Kelly Le Brock worship) and The Breakfast Club!

A very talented writer/director.

I was only reading up about his films (trivia) on IMDB yesterday.

Re: The REALLY expensive games

What's the most anybody has ever paid for a game? I paid £120 for Panorama Cotton  I've actually forgot! It was between £190 and £230 for Mega CD Adventures of Batman and Robin. Pretty sure it was around the £190 mark. This question came up around the time I joined the forum, so somebody knows.

Cannibal Bob: Is that a Bonne Jenet avatar? No, it's Aya Brea from Parasite Eve. Parasite Eve 2 is one of my favourite games of all time. She's also hot. <3 Didn't see the Parasite Eve logo in your avatar...oops. I think it just reminded me of this pic: http://elrinconderock.iespana.es/elrincondero...

Mostly to check out the arcades, as I've not been for ages (last went in 04 iirc). I used to go all the time in the summer between '96 and '99, and made loats ...

Re: The King of Fighters XII

As she is SNKs Poster Girl, then I suspect she will be as close to her '94 version as possible.

She will have a few "alternative" costumes to download as well. Big and bouncy Mai will never die.

Re: How Many PS1 Games Do You Own?

I picked up that issue of Edge to read in the dentists today having not bought it for a while. Not a bad article. Not sure I'd agree with your Um Jammer Lammy assessment. Its pretty much the same game with a makeover, its just unfortunate that by being so, it comes across as a bit 'samey' and doesn...

Re: Rare PS2 games

Sounds like it's not that great a game either.

Have read up on it and apparently it has a really poor camera that spoils a lot of the gameplay.

The storyline NEEDS to be made into a Hollywood film - Dinosaurs in Space/spaceships. Sounds all kinds of awesome.

Re: The King of Fighters XII

There will be DLC, of that I'm sure. Like I said a few posts ago, there's a news article on thefightersgeneration.com that expands on this. Basically, there's a link to the online stores for PS3/360 and I doubt that would be there for no reason. Mai is practically a dead-cert for DLC and I can see ...

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

I haven't actually bought them yet, but I am considering getting these 3 PS2 games from my local BlockBuster : Final Fantasy Dirge of Cerebus Star Ocean - Til The End of Time and a weird game I've not ever seen before, called Mercury (something or other). Looks like a puzzle game of sorts. 3 for £10...

Re: Rare PS2 games

Xbox Crim.sea Rare is it? Yikes. good job i kept mine then. :D Did initally get well into it, until the stage in a village where you had a strict time limit to kill these invisible creatures. Sooo god damn frustrating, just put it back in the cupboard. Nearly got shot of it at the time. Also, whils...

Re: Favourite Turtle?

I suppose back when I watched the cartoon it would have been Michelangelo by a mile. The dude had nunchucks and all the best lines. But with hindsight and maturity I've come to understand how Raphael is totally badass. Leonardo was too much of a do-gooder like Lion-O in Thundercats. Donatello was t...
