Re: PS3 Sux = lol

Nothing worse than idiots on the PSN, letting someone use your account is pretty stupid and I'm glad they are banning people for abusive behavour. I went on the XBOX live thing a short while ago and it was full of retards/yanks screaming swear words, playing music down the headset and thinking its ...

Re: Which was your time?

1993 - 1997 Although I had a Spectrum in the late 80's and then a Megadrive, gaming for me with these was only minimal, largely due to the patience you needed for loading tape based games and due to the sheer cost of Megadrive games when I was about 16. However, after starting a YTS in Manchester Ci...

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

its a damn good price for a multimega, all the other ones on ebay go for at least double that. Nah its not that good a price - I've been watching some on ebay around the £80 mark. Was annoyed to miss this one a few weeks ago though - just goes to show NEVER have your auctions finish in the day time...

Re: Offline Fighting Games Event 11th-13th Sept 09 [London, UK]

Wow passionate! I hate to say but none of the games you mentioned have a "Big" following. Neo Empire has been running these kinds of events for over the last 5 years. We have put almost every single fighting into the roster and these are the ones that pull a decent crowd. As for Tekken: The communi...

Re: Lockerbie Bomber Released

I'd have to side with Antiriad2097 on this one.

Capital Punishment / The Death Penalty SHOULD be reintroduced, but ONLY when there is overwhelming proof/factual evidence that an individual is guilty, 100%

Jail term only for "reasonable doubt" or similar.

Re: Offline Fighting Games Event 11th-13th Sept 09 [London, UK]

FFS!!! Can you not run an event with some CLASSIC fighters, they don't have to be part of the MAIN EVENT as it were, just a couple of yesteryear's most fondly remembered games in all their glory. Doesn't even matter what system they are running on. So how about : Mortal Kombay II (via Midway Arcade ...

What a shockingly poor list.

Either way I'd opt for Revenge of Shinobi.

Re: Unboxed, No instructions

My Megadrive, MasterSystem , Mega CD and DC are all boxed and nigh on mint cond. About 20 odd games are missing instructions, but I'll get them sooner or later. I rarely ever read the instructions, but I take great pride in condition, so it's natural for me. The above also applies to all my GC, PS2 ...

Re: Games you quit playing without finishing...

I finish everything I buy. I don't see the point of buying it if I don't finish it. I try my best to unlock everything and get all the trophies, etc. If I didn't think I was going to like it enough to finish, I wouldn't have bought it. The above applies to modern games. In the 80's I never expected...

Re: King of Fighters -- fan in the making.

Okay, so I was mooching around the internet and got all carried away looking at screen shots of King of Fighters. So i put down £15 and a bought a copy of King of Fighter '95 for the PS1. And it's awesome. It really is very good. It being SNK, KoF '95 it is not a million miles from Samurai Shodown ...
