Turrican was one of my favorites on the C64. I loved the huge levels and the bosses.

I liked the C64 version best.

I used to listen to Soul Coughing - 'Circles', 'Bus to Beelzebub', 'Down to This' etc. or Transplants 'Diamonds and Guns' in PGR2 while endlessly shaving fractions of a second off my best on my favourite time trial circuits.

I can't wait to get hold of a 360 and PGR3. No doubt I'll do the same.

The Rowlands brothers did some fantastic stuff in Creatures, Creatures2 and especially Mayhem in Monsterland. They really pushed what was possible with the C64 with that game. Being lucky enough to have the official UK version with maracas and a set of third party maracas, I can say that the 3rd party ones are not quite as good as the sega ones, but they do perform very well.

As for the game, it great fun to play and watch, but it doesn't half make your arms ache. :D
