Re:

This was one of my Favourite game on my Amstrad. I never managed to complete it, wouldn't mind having another try at it, this cover gives me nice reminders of the past http://gfx.gaminator.pl/data/gameedition/42/3305.2.jpg Yeah, reminds me of going into smelly little computer game shops and seeing ...

MAME arcade machines

Hi! I'm just wondering if anyone knows how much these are worth. I've been offered an original cocktail arcade cabinet which was originally a Namco arcade machine, but has since had a PC put in with MAME installed. The arcade boards are still in there, but want a value as I may be swapping something...

Re: Seinfeld!!!!!! Whada ya think?

I think it's always the case of recognising the characters. I got into Everyone Loves Raymond and King Of Queens a couple of years ago, but it got a bit samey and based a lot of stories on morals (zz boring). I hate American imports (there's too many!!!!). I also liked Coach when it was on, purely b...

Re: Your First PC?

I first dipped my toe into the rancid world of windoze in '96. £1200 got me a Compaq 486 DX 4 90mhz with windows 3.1  Did very little with it apart from play First Encounters and Command and Conquer. The girlfriend at the time bagged it about six months later when we split and I bought a sec...

Re: Kurt Cobain And Nirvana

I loved Nirvana at the time when they appeared, went off it in the late 90's (saturation), but re-recognised how awesome the band were. Kurt Cobain was a whinging wimp, he had a great upbringing (according to his parents and his family and friends) who was just a selfish, spoilt brat. Half of his ta...

Re: Burnout series - favourite installment POLL

As it went through the series, it got more bloated. Burnout Paradise was buying into the whole 'achievement' thing getting rewards etc. I think that game's for reward/achievement point whores as I can't really see much of a game in it, although pulling off a huge series of stunts is extremely satisf...

My GF played the Wii game. It's good if you like that sort of game, I don't really so.

Re: Seinfeld!!!!!! Whada ya think?

I watched it in 1998 at a mate's and didn't get it. I then watched again in mid-2000's when it was on everynight, and you really get into it once you see all the characters. One of the best and most intellegent comedies ever. I love it and have the DVD's. I can watch them over and over, I think it's...

Re: Loading Wii Channels from an SD card :)

Piracy on the Wii at this age will give it a boost, I still buy games, but the possibility of downloading old Gamecube stuff will make me want to switch it back on for the first time in a year.

I had it on the PC, seem to remember loving it, it had unique gameplay and huge open level where you could float with your strange wings.

Re: How often do you play multiplayer games?

I play Battlefield 2 nearly every day.
Online gaming should work, but it doesn't, thanks to pre-teen American boys. There should be three different sets of online gaming rules set by LAW:

under 16,
16 - 25,
25 and over.

Sick of playing with smart arse keyboard warrior pricks.
