Re: Hardest game you've played recently

Has anyone played Flatout : Ultimate Carnage on the XBox 360? It's -could- be a really, really good game - but unfortunately doesn't know what it wants to be. It's similar to Destruction Derby, however, the only aim is being 1st in the race. Smashing your opponents up is great fun, but you are not r...

"Euro Truck Simulator"

Anyone played this game. It's quite -authentic- (ie bit boring), but it's interesting and unusual. You basically have to travel round Europe (reduced in size marginally) and pick up/drop off loads (fuel, cargo, etc). You have factors like fuel, traffic, weather, sleep, etc to deal with. It's not gre...

Hardest game you've played recently

I'd have to say the hardest game I've played recently is: Solders : Heroes Of World War 2 http://i.d.com.com/i/dl/media/dlimage/82/07/8207_medium.jpeg Non-existant learning curve, the first mission is to over-run a small island filled with nazis. You have to destroy a small boat with two AA guns on ...

Re: Seems Sony do actually care about the PSP

They cared for about a year, and after it sold a big lump. I played Loco Roco and Patapon, there's just a load of incompatible games on it.

Re: Most ridiculous achievement/trophy?

Easiest achievements - I got 300 points in the first hour of playing Mercenaries 2. Bullet Witch - didn't even gain one point! Half Life 2 : Episode 1 - Carrying the gnome all the way through the game. Kind of ruins the game tbh, and I did it, but then lost it before the Walker battle at the end and...

Re: Most ridiculous achievement/trophy?

Beat developer online in a race in Burnout Paradise. Never going to happen!

Also, play Half Life 2 - the Ravensholm (?) level without any weapons. I nearly did this, but found out using the grav-gun was cheating. :( Not hard, but there's a LOT of beasties on the level.

Re: INPUT

I always uncover things in the loft - usually things I'll spend ages reading. Although I can't spend too long up there as it makes me want to poo. Anyone else get that? Everytime I go up there, I need the toilet. I'm needed one now thinking about it!

While I have noticed the odd recycled plot or gag, I personally think the quality of The Simpsons is still good. The movie wasn't quite as great as it could have been, but still had some classic moments. The new intro sequence perhaps relies too heavily on in-jokes, but I do like the couch gags. I ...

I've got one! The 'upwards' screen let it down, you couldn't have side scrolling games.
I used to play The Sims on it. You can use 4gb SD cards and watch films on it (a novely in those days).

I'm the opposite with South Park, first few seasons were good but i dont know, quite dull to the episodes nowadays. I've never really liked South Park, but there was one with Russell Crowe and his boat (who wanted to commit suicide because of his singing). I remember being at my girlfriend's house ...

The old stuff was awesome, but it got tiresome. There's only so much you can do with it and I couldn't believe a new series is currently on Sky! I did watch a couple of new ones and it had lost the charm - I didn't laugh once and it was bit boring. Homer went somewhere with Mister Burns and there we...

I love the bit on 'Alright On The Night' where the farmer is singing, sitting on a wall, and the dog goes flying past the camera dragging it's bum behind it. I remember being in bulk in a scene in 'Legion' in Red Dwarf VI where they are eating food with those "anti-matter chopsticks". haha Tv comedy...
