Re: Will Current games become collectables

I wonder about Gamertags with huge points and dlc on them will they be worth stuff in the futur. Or will they still be in use. I wish i could see into the futur and buy up all the games that will be become sort after. Some months ago I noticed that a special armour suit (or something) was available...

Skull & Crossbones.

Pleasant enough to look at but rather unplayable as far as I remember.

Re: Wild West themed games?

Antiriad2097, you are right, i've never heard of them but then again 8-bit French games has never been high on my agenda. But perhaps it should be; i'll make a mental note to check out the ones you mention. On a slightly different note (but I guess keeping to the point of the thread) what is the new...

Re: What are you currently playing?

Went on COD 4 for the first time in a couple of months today and was hopelessly rubbish. However, a couple of hours into the session the old reflexes came back justifying the gold cross i've earned.

Retro wise i've been bashing about on Diddy Kong Racing on the N64.

Re: Wild West themed games?

Why Spain? Why not Italy or some other part of Europe? France knocked out a load of decent 8 bit games, but many of those were never translated so are unknown to us in the UK. Considering the number of well known UK devs, you'd think there would be more in Europe too, but they seem to be in isolati...

Re: Unboxed, No instructions

I can do without the instructions (although prefer them, obviously) but a game without the box/case is enough to completely put me off owning the item. Think about it, all your games are proudly lined up in regimented fashion on your shelf but right at the end there are a few loose carts knocking ab...

Re: Wild West themed games?

Spaniards made lots of games we got in the UK, at least for the Speccy. Dinamic is the big name and we had Game Over, Army Moves and Rocky/Rocko for example just from that one developer. I was being facetious - clearly it doesn't surprise me to hear that people in Spain are capable of being involve...

Re: Where did you play Arcade games?

The local chippy was the place to hang out for a session of Defender back in Cumbria but when we moved down Bournemouth way in the mid 80's we discovered a lovely little place nearby in Weymouth called Noah's Ark - A tiny boat, on the water, brimming with games such as Space Invaders, Pacman and the...

Re: Wild West themed games?

West Bank is an unofficial conversion of the Sega game Bank Panic. They wrote the game planning to licence it but then failed to get it, but published it anyway with a name change. A blatant clone, its near identical, surprising that late in the day. Yep, i'm aware of Bank Panic although i've never...

West Bank. I loved it on the Amstrad and by sheer chance it was the CPC version that popped up when I first entered the title on YouTube.
