Click - early 90's VHS based magazine

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year fellow retro forumers! - I was just wondering if anybody else remembers this - but preferably in more detail. Feel free to correct any of my sketchy memories of this but 'Click' was a monthly video game 'magazine' released on VHS at the start of the 90's. I stil...

Re: PD Kick Off 2 Editor from the early 90's

Not the one i'm looking for but thanks for taking the time to answer - yeah, I was a Sensi fan too for the record (it's my 360 Avatar after all) and both still play remarkably well today. Still pretty much convinced it was a Public Domain release which will make tracing it down extraordinarily diffi...

PD Kick Off 2 Editor from the early 90's

One for the fellow 30+ forum members, perhaps....... Whizzing on back to the beginning of the 90's a friend of mine had a Kick Off 2 editor for the Amiga. It wasn't a particularly complex editor - as far as I am aware you could only change the names, ages and possibly add some more designs to the ki...

Re: Is there a special game or system you want to buy in 2010?

Retro-wise, I'll be filling in a few gaps in my Amiga collection with titles such as the Chase H.Q. II, Shadow of the Beast III and Moonstone. When it comes to current-gen then i'm particularly looking forward to MAG, Bad Company 2, Heavy Rain and Gran Turismo 5 which are all scheduled to arrive in ...

Re: [EBAY] Wings (Commodore Amiga)

One of those rare occasions (for me) where I stick on and old game and remain as impressed now as I was then by how aesthetically pleasing on the eye it is. I've always been under the impression that this was more of a cult classic, though - which is a shame in a sense because it's seldom named in a...

Re: Online Username Thread for PS3/360/Wii

I'm starting to get into the Christmas spirit and am seriously considering going through the entire thread and adding everybody.

Which even before the benefit of hindsight is a quite ridiculous idea.

Less, without question - but only because I moved to the States in January. I've not even had an opportunity to ship all my retro stuff over although how much that is going to cost God only knows.

Re: What are you currently playing?

Still pitching up with MW2 although can't believe how ridiculously toned down the veteran difficulty level is.

I do like the old Spec ops, however.

Re: Amstrad GX4000 on sale here in New Zealand

Nice collection - not sure i'd personally bother with the 'other versions' but then i'm sure if I was a GX4000 addict then i'd be more than happy to add them to the collection. Gazza II by all accounts was reviewed in/around 1991 but has proven somewhat elusive to collectors. Chase HQ II is also ano...

Re: Amstrad GX4000 on sale here in New Zealand

It's an alright console, I have one with over 40 games, yes 40 games. Switchblade, Pang and Best of the Best are awesome games. And I quite like Burnin Rubber, especially since it came free with the console. Over 40? I'm going to have to surmise that you own a heap of unofficial games that originat...
