Re: Your rarity/price guide references

Well yes, eBay is useful to a degree but I was thinking more of a complete (or near as) list for immediate reference. As I say, Digitpress has one for American users and I know the Amiga Hall of Light website has a relatively decent rarity guide but tracking PAL console rarity/price guides down on t...

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

About to go on an PS1 eBay spending spree - although not looking forward to seeing how much the shipping to the States will be :?

Other than that the last few days have seen the arrival of Red Dead Redemption and Alan Wake for the 360 - the latter i've yet to even open.

Your rarity/price guide references

Evening chaps/chapettes, just wondering what people tend to use when it comes to checking out rarity guides out there for their collection (any format). Just starting to get my old PS1 collection (amongst others) back on track and could do with some up-to-date reference sites to make sure that i'm n...

Re: Collect or Play

Controversial perhaps but I tend not to play the games that I actually 'collect' because invariably the gaming experience is far less enjoyable than a modern day 360/PS3 title. Now that's obviously not to say all games of a certain era are awful and all games in the current era are fine and dandy - ...

Road Rash on the PS1 and Red Dead Redemption on the 360.

Having a love-hate relationship with the latter when it comes to multiplayer.......

Re: So, What is your collection goal?

Still not entirely sure what I want to focus my collection on.......one minute it's the Amiga and the next i'm wanting to start from scratch on something new such as the Japanese Dreamcast. Today i'm thinking it would be nice to have full Neo Geo AES library. Might have to buy that lottery ticket, t...

Re: What's Your Greatest Multiplayer Victory?

retrojc mentioned gaining an extermination on Halo3 which I also earned 18 months ago (made a bit of a pigs ear with the attachment below but feel free to check it out regardless). Even though I haven't done the following for some time as i'm kinda done with CoD for the time being, getting the last ...

Re: Games ruined by cheat knowledge

Entering cheat codes/passwords at the menu screen is a little too late 80's/early 90's for my liking. As I get older I become a better gamer so resorting to infinite lives/ammo etc isn't necessary. In saying that if I do get particularly frustrated at a certain point in the game I won't hesitate in ...

My YouTube Channel

See, this seemed like a great idea at the time but I genuinely woke up the next morning cringing and wondering what on earth possessed me to make these videos and subsequently unleash them on the world. Still, I can laugh at it now - especially after the ribbing i've had at work and the like....... ...

Re: What are you currently playing?

Tried a bit of transatlantic Spec Ops with my cousin but the lag was absolutely and utterly unplayable so that was the end of that one. Pitched up for a bit of FIFA 10 instead. Was winning the first game 5-1 before the guy quit on me which was immensely annoying. In saying that I was 2-0 down to som...

Re: For Christmas, this time 20 years ago.

I was also the grand old age of 11 (and 3/4 which was important) in 1989 - might have been the year I got my Raleigh Cobra mountain bike actually. Was still knocking about with my Amstrad back then but remembering what games I received from Father Christmas and co. without checking any old photos ou...

Re: Click - early 90's VHS based magazine

For the record i've just found a stack of 'Click' YouTube videos - look's like somebody has included full episodes which is nice.

Part one of the first issue here.

Also, reading the comments it looks like there were only 2 released.
