Re: The PSP collecting thread

Thanks. I didn't even realise P2 was out here yet. You wouldn't believe how many copies of P3 I sent back to various companies trying to get one in decent condition. I'm sure our postman sits on our parcels :( There are a couple on eBay so I may contact some sellers to see what packaging they use. O...

Re: The PSP collecting thread

Got hold of three very nice PSP games in the last couple of months, all with extra bits and bobs (art cards, soundtracks, etc.): Trails in the Sky, Persona 2: Innocent Sin and Persona 3 Portable. Mind if I ask where you got P2 from? Only place I can find it in stock is play.com and they always send...

Re: machine to machine gaming

Problem with PlayStation and PS2 link up is Only two can be used Two player DOOM deathmatch seems wrong Xbox got it right On PS2 this is only true if you're using iLink. For games that support the network adaptor, you can connect multiple machines just like the XBox. System link gaming is easily th...

Re: Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 - Xbox 360

Not the first to call me that. If you don't like what I'm saying though, that's fine with me. It's not what you're saying, it's the elitist way you choose to say it. It's one thing to be discerning and quite another to be a snob. miss one thing and you've lost half your health bar. I mean, this is ...

The URL says retrogamer.net but I seem to have ended up on gamefaqs somehow.

Re: Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 - Xbox 360

The problem i have is that i feel its not balanced enough. SSFIV is so tight and i find it hard to stray from now. I'd have agreed with this before Arcade Edition AKA Super Unbalanced Yun Fighter IV. Now I've found my groove again, I'm really enjoying Ultimate. I'll never be very good at MvC really...

Re: Mr Do!

Very nostalgic game for me, as my Aunt used to have a Mr Do! cabinet in her pub when I was a kid. More recently I played it at the Arcade Barn in Devon a few months back. I've never been very good at the game though and actually prefer Mr Do's Castle, which is a cracking game as is the amazing C64 c...

Loving the Bomb Jack bunfight. Wasn't the ST version supposed to be the closest?

And I'll add the SNES version of Smash TV.

Re: Under Defeat HD PS3/360

Also the DC is essentially a less powerful home version of the Naomi arcade system so those ports on the machine resemble the arcade versions very closely. That's true. Weren't there a few minor differences in the XBLA version of Ikaruga? I doubt you'd notice though unless you were a very high leve...

Until the new ports come out, how do you know which version is the best version to own?

Re: PETA whines about Mario's Tanooki suit

PETA on the whole do a good job but there will be issues which people wont agree with, do more good then harm though This is a joke, right? http://www.petakillsanimals.com/ They kills tens of thousands of animals. In what way do they do a good job? By that reasoning the majority of pet owners are k...

Re: Most Annoying Enemies ever

The licker ships in Iridis Alpha on the C64, the only "safe" way to deal with them was to belt along at nearly top speed to the left and flick around to shoot right occasionally - made even more difficult if both landscapes were open and entropy started to kick in! I was going to post this. Bloody ...
