Re: GAME ROOM X360 - THE RG RESURGENCE! Challenges! May 2012

Damn it. Thought I had the Juno First challenge in the bag. I check again before the challenge ends and Mayhem has taken the lead.

Oh well, at least I won the Scramble one.

Re: GAME ROOM X360 - THE RG RESURGENCE! Challenges! May 2012

Count me in on Juno First challenges please. Nobody really had a crack at your Shao-Lin's Road challenge, so I practically won by default. Iron Horse can f*** off ;) Did you loop Shao-Lins road for that score? I managed to do it but it just went back to the temple with biurds dropping rocks on you ...

Re: GAME ROOM X360 - THE RG RESURGENCE! Challenges! May 2012

Think my high score on Juno First is about 150,000. Haven't played it for ages though.

Shadowman, doesn't the GC version of MM Collection have the buttons mapped the wrong way round?

Re: Anyone here ever get a Sega Nomad?

It's not really a region lock. The game just checks the language and speed jumper settings. Some games only do this on startup, so with a switch, you can start the game at 50hz then switch to 60hz once past the title screen.

Re: Anyone here ever get a Sega Nomad?

It's set to English language and 60HZ. So if a PAL game checks what speed the machine is running at (some do) it won't run.

Yeah I use my TE stick and have to abandon using the special on Iron Horse. I use punch too, though I notice Shinobi has the top score so far using the pistol.

Re: GAME ROOM X360 - THE RG RESURGENCE! Challenges! May 2012

Thanks for the challenges, ChipTune. I am beyond terrible at Iron Horse so don't expect much competition from me on that one. Juno First is a superb game. I've played that more than any other game on the service. I was also lucky enough to get to play it at the Arcade Barn in Devon last year before ...

Re: Looking for two specific video games (Game Boy)

First game sounds like Sokoban. I think this also came out as Boxxle?

The second one: Battle City?

Re: Anyone here ever get a Sega Nomad?

I've got a modded one so it outputs in both 50 and 60hz (handy mainly just for getting around region protection on stuff like Probotector and Megaman Wily Wars) and I really like it. As others have mentioned the battery life isn't the best (it lasted about long enough for me to clear Sonic 3 and Kn...
