The Another World article is what I'm looking forward to the most. Absolutely adore that and Flashback.

Although, I do read cover to cover, so I'm technically looking forward to it all!

An excellent read, as always. Particularly enjoyed the 'Making Ofs' and 'Global Gaming' as usual. Plus, on page 105, if you take a quick peek at the little screenshot from NTSC-UK, you'll spy a Sonic Rush screenie. If you can manage to read that first line of text accompanying said screenshot, you'l...

Had this for a few weeks, and it's really stolen way too much of my time. Been hammering the hell out of Elevator Action Returns, Football Champ, Qix and Darius Gaiden!

Yes I do 8)

Several in fact

Show off :P

I'm quite looking forward to the next issue, hopefully it's here tomorrow morning, so I can casually slip in to the warehouse at 'the day job' and have a good old read.

Relative cheapness, nostalgia, so many excellent gaming titles, and much less complicated control wise. Not necessarily in that order :P

Looking through these reciepts shows just how lucky I've been. Apparently Wetrix on the PC cost me a massive 98p.

Re:

I take it it's the PSX version, which I've never seen in the United States. Been looking for it, though. Do you know how similar it is to the Jaguar version? I used to love that game, but alas, it was the only thing to love about the Jag. I sold it off before the move to NYC. Ah no, it was the PC v...

Is much of it about his 8-bit days?
The promo blurb for it emphasises the Newsfield/Thalamus games era, so: Yes!
Woohoo! Yet more reason to look forward to it's imminent arrival!

Fortunately for me, my dad and uncle were massive gamers before I was spawned onto this earth, so my C64 was, technically, my dads. I do remember my dad coming home from a long day out and placing a Mega Drive in front of me, and then mercilessly taunting me while he flew through the Green Hill Zone...

Is Metal Slug: 1st Misson worth a purchase? Sonic Pocket Adventure, Faselei!, and SNK vs. Capcom: Card Fighter's Clash are alread on their way, and Pac-Man is being sought out, but handheld Metal Slug action is quite the draw!

Tempest 2000 in the 'bargain bin' at the HMV in Rotherham about 18 months ago. Cost a pitiful 99p, and it's played at least an hour per week without fail. More 'making ofs' for the lesser known titles that I loved 'back in the day' would be most welcome if you ask me. Titles like Dreamweb on the Amiga, and Hacker on the C64. Always wanted to read a making of article for Uplink too, though me thinks it's a few more years til that's considered retro eno...

If not, then I really need to do some hardcore thinking. So many games I'd love to spend huge amounts of time with....

That's ironic, I'm in the exact same situation! Only so many times can you check out your horoscope before you crave some gaming action. I just hope those few loose carts I ordered from Play-Asia arrive sharpish.
