Re: Retro Gamer Issue 107 feedback thread

Considering how many people moaned when we started doing iOS coverage, I'm in no hurry to start covering Android. But disappointed by this tbh :-( Both platforms offer great retro/emulation opportunities. Android allows you to emulate everything up to N64. There are lots of remakes coming out all t...

Re: Retro Gamer Issue 107 feedback thread

not so much that interests me this month - compared to the last two issues - but that sometimes happens. Noticed again no mention of any Android games in the RetroRated section - I'm sure it was an oversight but both Pinball Arcade and Death Rally are available on Android - but this wasn't listed in...

Re: buying a game you already have just for the box...

I must admit to doing this for the boxes and the manuals - Most of the Ultima games have great faux leather manuals and trinkets in the box. I have bought and then re-sold (when I needed the money) loads of Ultima games over the years. With having lack of space and two kids now - the last of my (now...

Re: Pinball

I would buy the Indiana Jones Pinball adventures (but then I'm a huge Indy fan), I like Arabian Nights as well - you can try that table on Pinball Arcade (I have it on my Prime and it plays really well)

Android: joystick buttons on Nesoid, Snesoid etc

Hi, I need help getting some emulators working with a joystick properly. Nesoid, Snesoid, Gbaoid are regarded as probably the best emulators on Android for their platform - but I just can't get any of them setup to my joystick buttons. I know the joystick is working fine as I use it with no issues o...

Re: Post your Android games here?

Recently downloaded "New Star Soccer" great little footy game with rpg elements - similar to Gremlin's "Footballer of the Year" from back in the day https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.newstargames.newstarsoccer&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5uZXdzdGFyZ2FtZXMubmV3c3Rhc...

Re: Pro Pinball: Revived & Remastered via Kickstarter

disappointed they don't have an android version as standard - unless it does really well i.e. one of their stretch goals. I would have backed this, if this had been the case. Also $400,000 seems a bit high - although Broken Sword has hit this target already with loads of time left.

Re: Are Commodore 64s actually worth anything?

As others say, it isn't the computer that is much worth, it really depends on what games are present. @KaiserPC - what, the actual UK disk version, as opposed to the US disk version? I'm not actually sure Mayhem, I picked it up about 10 years ago along with another load of disks without boxes (can'...

Re: Are Commodore 64s actually worth anything?

Depending on what the Ultimate games are, they could be worth a few quid. Also if you have the disk version of Sabrewulf or Underwurlde these are worth quite a bit (I sold my disk version of Sabrewulf on ebay a couple of months ago and it got a good price). I think Imhotep is the highest earner - wh...

Re: Pixel Nation, Issue Two arrives!

Lorfarius, you said many moons ago before issue 2 was released that there was going to be a large Ultima history article. Looking through the thread I can't find any reference to it - did the article make it in or not?

Re: 'Bedrooms to Billions' film project - how you can help!

Darn! Completely missed this - would have defo funded a small amount (to get at least a digital copy of the film). I'll have to make sure I pick up a DVD release from the distributer when it is finished.

Re: Post your Android games here?

downloaded a few good games recently for my prime tablet; - Pinball Arcade (free trial, then cost per table)- superb real pinball simulator. Has a lot of the real pinball tables I used to play back in the day. You can buy the tables individually or save some cash and buy them in a group - the price ...

Giana Sisters - Kickstarter project

Hi, I see the developers of the original Giana Sisters are making a follow up. They're looking to raise development/publishing funds through kickstarter - but struggling to get 100% with only 7 days to go. I see Chris Hulsbeck and Machinae Supremacy are doing the music :-) http://www.kickstarter.com...
