I downloaded the 2nd trial, but the dungeon siege engine isn't my favourite to be honest. Nothing can beat the engine they used for Ultima Vii for me.

I'll need to give it another go though - spent plenty time on the ST version of Ultima V

I'm sure it must be possible for somebody with a little electrical know how.

I was lucky enough to pick up a CBM colour monitor for £1 at a car boot sale a few years ago :)

Origin - best developer ever?

I was posting on retro survival about retro PC games, when I noticed all the games I listed where actually by Origin. It got me thinking about the quality and diversity of the titles released by Origin. Origin must be the best developer of the 80's and 90's in terms of quality releases. Surely we mu...

Yep I agree they couldn't hold a torch to Dungeon Master. I suppose it was a case of "seen it, done it" after DM. Now DM itself now that is a game. It was the 1st game I bought for my ST, in fact, I think it was the reason I bought my ST. And for once the Amiga owners were very envious (until the Am...

Thought of a few more :D In Zelda Octarina of Time, when you finally finished the game. I seem to remember a flyby by the owl where you revisited all the locations and characters in the game. I remember being happy & sad at the same time, happy that I had finally finished the game. And sad that I wo...

Re:

I've got nothing against RPGs but why is this genre more deserving of others in needing it's own section? Equal coverage is best. That is the whole point these genres don't get the same coverage. This is why I'm calling for them to have dedicated section (just like they used to have in zzap etc) ho...
